Smin1080p_WT, is there any news on when new IR missiles will be added to aircraft’s? Or maybe a reason they haven’t came out yet? I just personally think we should’ve atleast gotten the MICA IR on just the Rafale to see how it goes and the 9X on the new F16C or just any new IR missile in general. We have all these new aircraft’s but we have yet to see new IR missiles @Smin1080p_WT

Same radar, less countermeasures, heavier airframe. Only benefits are stronger engines and 77-1 at the cost of jumping to 14.0-14.3 br. 9.15 will be the best MiG-29 for its br

These types of missiles aren’t something you just add to one or two planes in one or two nations just to “see how it goes” lol.

On the other hand, we could fix ARH MICAs range, add IR MICA only to Rafale and just wait until air battles die out.
Once it will start affecting premium sales, gaijin will be forced to act.
We simply need to play 5D chess.

Brother I mentioned the 9X I never said just for the MICA if anything I wanna see the 9X added. I’m not glazing any countries I just want them to atleast give one country or a singular jet a next gen IR missile to see how it goes and yea I’d say it’s about time with all these new jets coming in. I guess I should’ve made myself more clear but I’m not saying screw the people using 9Ms
This wasnt the case with ARHs which had playtest where more than one country had ARHs aviable, next gen IRs wont be any different (hopefully, with how money hungry gajin is these days)

@Smin1080p_WT the Hungarian Fw 190 F-8 has an updated landing gear model. Is that going to apply to all Fw 190s in the future? The Fw 190 models are from Wings of Prey iirc and are some of the most outdated and inaccurate the game has currently.

Sure, maybe those won’t (although it would make them a bit painful to play), but only giving them to one of the best planes that are already at 14.7 as is would be a sure way to break top tier.

Personally if they give as python 4/5 and rampage of Popeye I don’t want anything else for that aircraft
I think you might not be looking at the intention of his message though, which is that he’s just curious to see how a next ir missile would perform rather than any belief that the Rafale needs a next gen ir missile.

I know his intention, but we also know that Gaijin rarely (if ever) takes weaponry away from aircraft. So adding them to one or two updates to see how it goes is not a very sound strategy.
I would love to see a test for IR missiles the same way they did with ARH though, have it in the events tab for a certain amount of time.

I believe Smin also stated that next gen IR missiles would come for everyone at the same time, so yeah even the idea of one or two plane having it is out of the question.

And the missing double pylon for the GBU-62 and the GBU-54B that the American and the Swiss F/A-18Cs (Late) have?
I don’t think it’s game breaking to include these pylons into the Finnish variant. You could leave out the BOL pods with the double pylons for a “balancing factor”.
Any news for the SPICE equivalent for the US, the GBU53 Stormbreaker, for the F16C, F15E and F/A-18E?
