The bug reporting manager did not read the report, nor watch the video which shows the SM turret (its 3:30 min long, the report was closed after <2minutes)
The last image is from the linked video (which the BRM couldnt have watched).
The report itself is not even on something largely disputable as the gun literally clips through the turret almost immediately when depressing…
-9° of gun-depression is a physical impossibility and not related to a model-issue (as a BRM theorized on a previous report) as the gun rests are present on all Pantsir (including SM) turrets.
Yeah, the Beaufort is by far the most out-of-date playable model in the game. It looks more like a background prop than a playable asset
The Beaufighters have been revised a bit though, and look better than they did a few years ago. Could perhaps do with a texture refresh, but the 3D geometry isn’t bad.
Nor did he read it, because the User just pointed out that while the Dev server Updated the Spall-Liner vanishes which were allready there on a Prior version
The first report for the Sentinel I hope gets fixed eventually. Because fixing it means the devs need to rework how radars scan in game. Currently ground radars are simulated essentially as a stationary radar that can scan 360°, as result adding TWS ESA doesn’t really work for them unless you give them the ability to update targets that the radar can’t see during rotation. Fixing this also would fix certain air radars like the CAPTOR-E, which currently are able to update tracked targets when the radar would technically be mechanically steered away.
The second report I don’t think is correct, I’ve at least done some research about it myself and found that the ‘electronic back-scan’ refers to the ability to steer the beam in azimuth, and back-scan would be used to hold the beam on a target whilst the radar keeps rotating. You can read more here.
I kinda suspect this change was made because an internal report was made using this info, but not sure…
