The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Heavy Cavalry”! — 05.06.2026

Why was the maximum release speed of the GBU 39 reverted to 1.1M? The limit was removed just last update, the same goes for the newly added GBU 53.

People will never be satisfied until every Russian vehicle is a full BR higher than where it should be purely because of their own personal biases.

“Yea lets give Germany a copy paste puma and call it a day” this game has some serious bias. its been 2½ years since they got a new top tier mbt and it’s not even accurate to this day lmao

So no changes in turret basket territory? It should not be that fragile and destroyed turret basket does is not equal of turret ring so it’s destruction shouldn’t lead to inability to aim horizontally.

A lot of good things, thank you.

However, I still have some bug reports that haven’t been addressed, even years after they were submitted. For example, the Somua SM’s track model, which is quite disappointing for a premium vehicle. More recently, console players still don’t have the option to disable motion blur, which has really ruined my experience with the game.

Another poor update, apart from the two self-propelled guns – they’re brilliant – but I’d still like to say a few words. Britain doesn’t need the Abrams – they’ve got the Leopard and the Arjun. Why did the USSR get US weapons rather than European ones? It’s because they stole the Bison and the T-80 from the USSR. And finally, if they’re stealing from the US, give them something from the USSR( one of the options is Ukraine or Aizbarjan) too. P.S. Soon all NATO weapons will be in the USSR’s hands. You can take a photo of this prediction (because I haven’t been wrong once yet) and show it in a couple of years to those who didn’t believe me…

It’s not like WT maps require insane amounts of elevation and depression most of the time. Places where blufor vehicles have an advantage are exactly the places where Russian vehicles should avoid and viceversa…

I feel like I’ve read many Russia downplayers saying something along the lines of ‘play the vehicles to their advantages’ to Leopard/Abrams/etc players. Why shouldn’t be a valid argument the other way around?

Guess where capture points are located most of the time? You guessed it, plain terrain, where Russian profiles shine the most.

That is an argument that I can concede to an extent, a T-90 is NOT surviving a crippling shot even with a good reverse, same with any blufor tank if it gets hit in the front (as it usually takes out the engine, no matter the hull design).

This argument I can concede without an extra word. Maybe adding a nuance that its autoloader always works at its optimal time, no matter if you’re down to two crewmen.

Giving how lackluster NATO hulls are, they don’t need more than 3BM60s 580mms either, or even 3BM46.
Their postpen is on par if not better than rounds that allegedly have better pen like Type 10.

Excuse me, but the T-80BVM is far from having just one good perk. Is substantially better than the T-90M in a vacuum as it reloads 0.7s faster even with its slower round, it’s faster overall and it’s protection is still good enough without having spall liners.

I’m not used to pity on Russian MBTs, to be honest. The game is overall balanced around them.

Armour aside, you are ignoring you cannot disable a T-90 or BVM by damaging the turret ring. It has no basket to stop you shooting it has spall liners and is generally harder to kill than M1s it has a fixed rate of fire. And can even shoot behind itself.

isnt the M829A3 supposed to have much greater Pen over the previous A2 round?, why is it only 3mm more and its worse than the A2 round when facing angled armor

I mean, you can disable it.

But usually by the angle you’re required to hit the turret ring, you’re knocking both crewmen in the turret anyway 😄

Oh yep! What I meant is that thick armor is the main “signature” strength of Russian tanks, which makes them good despite other weaknesses.

I believe that, if they were to lose their armor reliability, they would become mediocre to straight up bad, which is a fate I wouldn’t want even for them, hahah.

Like… what would they have going for them, if you could slice through their UFPs, after all?

And you know I always say that their armor makes them really effective, hahah, so it’s not like I think they are bad. But I think they would become bad if they lost their armor.

They’d still have volumetrics and a lower profile than most of modern MBTs (including Chinese), it usually helps on concealment, a lot actually on small hills and stuff (like in Mozdok).

I don’t see it that black or white that their protection is untouchable. If Gaijin downplays most of composites with pessimist guesstimations, we don’t necessarily have to expect optimistic performance on other types of protection.

… what?

Why do we have it in the line under Su-22M3? It doesn’t make sense, the second line, under Tonado ADV, would be a way more appropriate place for such a plane.

While the 4th line can be perfectly prolonged by the addition of Romanian MiG-21 LanceR A and C, which I honestly disappointed not to see this update especially since this thing is coming:

Ah, just what the F-16 needed, less CMs

i’m assuming these aircraft will have the same roll rates by default that they had with the modification
should make playing them a lot more bearable

Functionally same missile loadout to the F106 and they work well due to the low BR, would certainly be a far more unique, fun and effective option than its current iteration being one of the worst performing gunfighters in the BR range (and the majority of all the planes at it’s BR that all outperform it also carry early IR missiles to boot).

This should be made optional, as it will kill the gameplay at high ranks and generally reduce the survivability of ships.

It even sounds stupid, since, for example, it is impossible to lift a Yamato projectile in 2 minutes, not to mention reloading even half of the ammunition.

They would never transfer shells and powder to different magazines across the ship in combat conditions. This is just madness.
