The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Heavy Cavalry”! — 05.06.2026

ALARM Anti-radiation missile. Finally, the numbers are filled in (Fig. 1). Equipped with inertial navigation and proximity fuze, operating in the same frequency band as the 88A model. Its destructive capability is not an issue, but its propulsion allocation and trajectory design are truly mind-blowing. The boost phase + cruise phase propulsion consists of 42 kN × 0.7 s plus 2.825 kN × 52 s. In terms of allocation, rather than being an anti-radiation missile, it resembles more of a Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) air-to-ground missile. After launch, the missile attempts to climb at a steep angle of 35 degrees to a cruise altitude of 12,000 meters. Due to the excessively weak thrust-to-weight ratio during the cruise phase, when launched from low altitude, its climb speed only exceeds Mach 1, making it very vulnerable to interception. Additionally, because the designed dive angle reaches up to 50 degrees, if you launch it at close range at high speed (i.e., “ghost head” maneuver), the missile will trigger its dive late. With a maximum load factor of only 5G and without reducing speed, it won’t be able to pull down sufficiently, instead flying just tens of meters above the target’s head without effect (Fig. 2). Currently, if launching M1 close to the ground, one must fire from beyond 5 kilometers for the missile to possibly descend and hit the vehicle… Absurd.

Its distinctive feature is a third propulsion phase delivering 7.13 kN·s of impulse, utilizing a dual-pulse mechanism triggered when the missile’s speed drops below 450 m/s to accelerate terminal penetration. However, because the first two phases burn in sequence, this third stage cannot ignite until 55 seconds after launch, rendering it effectively useless in actual combat scenarios. While the total impulse, drag characteristics, and seeker performance are fundamentally sound, issues with trajectory planning and thrust allocation make the system akin to an acrobat—likely requiring significant redesign; otherwise, it remains impractical for operational use.

You forgot to mention that the Su-39 & 25T has IRCM while the Gr.7 Harrier does not.

Granted it carries more CM especially with BOL paired with MAW’s that doesn’t have to sacrifice weapon slots for Air to Ground Munitions unlike the AV-8B.

However like you stated the Gr.7 Harrier is at a way higher BR and it’s in a BR where Radar guided Missiles are more common while the Su-25T & 39 doesn’t have to worry about Radar Missiles too much aside from being in a full uptier match.

So in practice the Su-25T’s/39 IRCM is way more of a strength despite it’s lower CM amount than the Gr.7’s BOL/MAW system, it’s still useful however it doesn’t make IR missiles almost completely useless against you

Yeah. GR7 is only at 12.0 because it has Aim-9Ms. But the Su-39 is fine at 11.3 with R-73. Its really annoying actually.

Ill be honest, i rarely ever see a Su39/Su25T get any kills with R73 because you are too slow to make them effective

Ive seen it enough times.

They are the first to die in my lobbies lol

@Smin1080p_WT is there a consideration for making the ship turret reload a toggle-able button similar to repair, extinguish fire etc as in some ships it is a benefit but in some it is a severe detriment and it should be up to the player to decide if he wants to use this mechanic or not.

@Smin1080p_WT for the aim54c+ are there any info of it not intended to be copy paste of the regular 54c? For example aim120a seeker, mach5 capable + smokeless motor etc?

it will hit the ground

Now that the F-15E has gotten a nerf in countermeasure quantity, can it get an AESA radar, maybe the BOL pods and the 28 GBU-53s (for which the pylons are available but only on the F-15C/GE)

Hamster dead?

probably

trying too

I cant get in.

dev was supposed to be closed few hours ago, but no notification from the CMs

Was having connection issues but was just able to get in.

I thought it was extended, but that may have just been that they forgot to close it on time. (╥‸╥)

Now it’s ok, they replaced the hamster for new one

extended, no notification, bugs still present, fixes to be made
second dev coming?

Changelog updated.

Naval fleet model, damage model, characteristic and weaponry changes

Naval weaponry

  • Emile Bertin, Gloire, La Galissonnière — 152-mm shell with a fuze delay has been added.
  • HMS Warspite, Arkhangelsk — 102-mm HE-TF shell for Mark XVI cannons has been added. (Report, Report).

Naval modifications and crew skills:

  • The display of a maximum spotting distance in the crew training window in the “Observers” tab in a tooltip for a “Surface targets detection distance” option has been fixed. Previously, the values in the “top” column were underestimated and didn’t reflect the true spotting distances. Now, the value calculations are conducted for the target of the same size as the ship in the crew slot. The deprecated parameters related to the target recognition have been removed from the tab.

Naval characteristics, physics and damage model

  • All ships with steam boilers now have a boiler explosion mechanic under certain conditions.

  • The force of the explosion depends on the current pressure in the boiler, which is not constant and depends on the engine telegraph gear. The greater the gear (forward and reverse), the higher the pressure.

  • At full speed, the pressure is maximum. At low speed, the explosion is weakest. And at neutral, it cannot occur at all.

  • The buildup of critical pressure also does not occur immediately and not always after the destruction of any of the boiler room modules. But if this does happen, there is always time to prevent an explosion. The lower the engine telegraph gear, the more time there is to notice the pressure buildup and to shut off the engine, preventing an explosion.

  • The danger can be detected by the effect of steam escaping in the area of the damaged boiler and the characteristic sound of steam escaping from the boiler room. If the engine telegraph gear can be reset to neutral in time, an explosion will not occur. If the ship continues moving, the boiler will explode. This isn’t a fatal explosion; its power can’t compare to the detonation of, say, an ammo rack. But nearby modules could be damaged.

Interface

  • The visual design of the shell drop marker, gun aiming marker, and depth charge drop marker has been changed.
  • Removed the shaking of the weapon marker on the enemy.

Graphical

  • An effect of aircraft tailhooks interacting with arrestor hooks has been added.
  • Visual effects when an aircraft moves on snow or a snow-covered runway have been reworked.
