because taiwan both ingame and irl are part of china or more specifically the republic or china.
as for the aim it went to america years ago and its now going to britain because australias part of the british commonwealth and has very close ties with the uk so much so australia considered the queen of england the queen of australia
But that is how it works. Leopards are in other trees because they were purchased by the sub-tree nations. Hungry purchased Pumas from Germany. Beligum bought Leopards from Germany. Poland bought everything from everyone. If that is the logic bus we want to ride for giving out domestic vehicles to other nations, then we should make sure it hits every stop, not just the ones we choose. I would agree the case is different regarding captured vehicles but rightfully purchased is already a precedent in-game.
I agree. In 1997, in exchange for some $40 million in humanitarian aid, the US purchased 14 Mig-29Cs, one Mig-29B, and six Mig-29As from Moldova. Primarily so they wouldn’t be sold to Iran. So if legally sold vehicles are justifiable and we are okay with adding Abrams and T-80s and Leopards across the spectrum, then that would be along the same logic right? Or do we think nation originality should be kept intact as much as possible?
I guess it depends who you talk to. I am indifferent and don’t care, I just don’t want to grind 400k RP for the addition of trophy on the tank already in game.
all im hearing is you dont want smaller nations to be represented fairly in the game.
subtrees have been and will be a thing in this game forever if you cant accept that then play a different game america never used the mig29s in military service neither did the brits when we bought t80s and yes there is prototype vehicles or just vehicles that werent in service but it doesnt matter, the subtree leopards and abrams ingame are from countrys that dont have full tech trees but are in subtrees of the nations they want to be in so they can be represented
Like you, Im rather indifferent to the whole thing too. Gaijin is going to do what Gaijin is going to do. I just object, personally, to the hypocrisy of being okay with giving one nation’s vehicles to everyone (regardless of reason) but then being against it in other cases. Either a nation’s originality matters or it doesn’t. Id rather not have to guess if the Abrams I am staring at is a friendly US Abrams, a British Abrams that might be on my team, and a Taiwanese Abrams that definitely is not on my team. Its like playing sim at the WW2 brackets and seeing an Italian M18.
Im not at all against minor nations be represented. But there are more ways to achieving the goal of representation beyond sticking one nations vehicles in other nation. So if Gaijin ever wants to add something to represent Moldova, your argument would just mean their Mig-29s would be in the US air tree versus say Russia’s. Since that’s who they sold them to.
moldova’s mig 29s would most likely go to russia as moldova had said mig29s when they were part of the soviet union just because america bought soviet mig29s from moldova doesnt mean americas entitled to a soviet jet ingame and again america didnt buy them for there air force so what you want a mig29 with nothing on it?
They had them for six years after leaving the Soviet Union. It just sounds a bit hypocritical is all. In the end, we are just going to have to agree to disagree.
yeah because moldova couldnt afford to keep them and they didnt want iran getting them and it doesnt matter when they had them it matter where they originally acquired them
@Smin1080p_WT “Why didn’t Germany get a new MBT this update? Usually, the US, Russia, and Germany receive new top-tier tanks together to maintain balance. Yet this time the US got two new MBTs and Russia got one, while Germany received nothing. What’s the reasoning behind this decision?
