F-5Cs are modified F-5As with more armour and less restrictions on pull (irl at least). The devs could easily have made a model for a F-5A that had the capabilities of CMs and AAM, but instead they opted to make something up
there is no late f-5c, the f-5c designation was only applied to 12 f-5a airframes modified for air-to-air refueling and trialed by the USAF for about half a year. every airframe used in the skoshi tiger program was later modified back into an f-5a

@Smin1080p_WT do developers plan some major mobility revise like they are doing with modules and armor? Asking because some vehicles (namely Type 10 family) suffer from inability to properly report a features like CVT and as a consequence receive a deserved mobility buff. Especially now that new internal modules nerf already niche vehicles. And the regenerative steering ofcourse.
Yeah the type 10 I feel really need it’s mobility buff as that’s it’s only mode of survivability. And rn it feels unnecessarily sluggish despite its high power to weight, kinda like the lecleerc was back in the day.

I hate to break it to you, but SACLOS AAs are the only ones that can reliably kill DIRCM Heli’s. Radar missiles either get multipathed or just straight up don’t see the heli(any heli for that matter) and anyone who’s played a radar guided SPAA would know that.
So adding a Radar AA to Germany wouldn’t fix the problem(and as was mentioned, there is the Flarakrad), what needs to happen to fix the problem is DIRCM being fixed so you can overwhelm it, and for radar SPAAs remove multipathing or at least give Heli’s a bigger radar return.
Thats if they are the rare kind that dont chill right behind a hill they can immediately dip behind, they are not a solution, you rather make it even more frustrating for yourself
