For their own guns after the 3-Pdr and 2-Pdr, sure.
But you’re not going to throw away perfectly good ammo your ally is supplying you with.

Sure but I just find it silly that some players are trying so hard to get British vehicles APHE when the answer is simply to stop APHE from overpowering while changing criteria for kills so that both are similar effective in destroying vehicles.
Gaijins system makes no sense.
Why should APHE overperform, making kills laughable easy, while the criteria of knocking out all but one crew members makes it unrealistic hard to knock out a tank with every other AP shell?
Because APHE owners, such as Americans, Russians, and Germans keep their magical one-tapping shell.
We had a vote about the realistic APHE nerf and the majority of the community didn’t want to lose the current overperforming APHE, and they want them to remain the same.
Yes. Damn those turret baskets.
So sadly, trying so hard to get APHE with a silly solution will be a simpler and easier way.
Thanks to APHE users who don’t want to lose their overperformances.
Yeah but it was only a vote to nerf APHE and not to make all AP rounds more effective.
Hopefully a realistic APHE cone will be reconsidered in the future, would be worth putting forward a Suggestion and encouraging community discussion of the issue again.
If you can’t beat them, join them. Blame the community for voting down the APHE changes.
That should have been done over 8 years ago, when people wanted good balance. Now people just want to play 10,000 games with their tank using APHE and feel important because they have a 2.8 kill ratio.
The only possibility would be if the devs were given a valuable attack and made all those changes to the damage models, something that would greatly improve the game and is desperately needed, but that many players wouldn’t like.
I agree, but I’m certain the devs are to blame, because there are situations where game problems need to be fixed, even if current players don’t like it. It takes courage, and while these changes might cause you to lose players, it’s also possible that many players who quit years ago because they couldn’t stand the awful damage system will return.
Absolutely.
They nerfed AP rounds down to IRL performance without any community vote or input. Then they put APHE to a community vote and the community voted against it. Genuinely the most stupid sequence events ever.
