This has genuinely been amusing to read. If only these people had this kind of meltdown over actual issues in the game. Maybe, just maybe the game would be in a better state.
Seems pretty well on the forum so far that I’m the odd one out in not caring about the BP bug. I’m just sticking around to watch people go " Karen Mode " over this for my own amusement.
you’re right there’s nothing wrong with this situation, because it doesnt affect me, you, or anyone else who didnt get the bug, it literally changes nothing for you
This bug didn’t happen to me, and I must say people being envious about those that kept bugged levels should touch grass. [edit3?: “people” here means those wishing harm onto innocents. That was and is the context. If you’re just upset and concerned, this obviously doesn’t address you.]
Be happy for them.
Stop being negative just because you didn’t get something instantly.
I do not care that others got to finish the BP before I did. Their lives are not my life.
I am happy for them. I am grateful that they play War Thunder.
I hope they keep playing the game.
They obviously did not exploit a bug because it wasn’t exploitable. Exploiters are of course bad for gaming, as are cheaters.
Edit: To those that are upset and are being respectful, I support you; your voice matters.
I love your guys’ perspectives as they are great.
Translation: “I dont care if my rights as a customer were violated and I am very happy about other people gaining advantage over me, I love when the game I play is breaking its own rule about Fair Play. Please Gaijin keep wiping your feet on me and other players.”
You really don’t understand the problem this will negatively affect the market, what’s so hard to get about that? How would you feel if your money and months of hard work were just stolen? I bet you’ve never even completed level 125 in a Battle Pass.
If u r able to read. this is not a situation where someone got lucky, this is one where certain players’ interest got eroded.
If you are not a victim, it’s better for you to keep silent, 'coz you don’t have sayingon this.
Sorry, I was responding to you, then some ragebaiting pro-exploitation anti-consumer post appeared on my screen claiming I was wrong for opposing exploitation in video games.
It pains me deeply to see that Gaijin still hasn’t made any response at all—not even a single statement like “We have become aware of the relevant situation; please wait patiently.” It’s as if none of this ever happened. It’s analogous to someone soiling their pants but thinking that, as long as they don’t change their pants or take a shower, none of it counts in their eyes.
Some players still mock those of us who are striving to appeal for justice. If you think this Battle Pass has nothing to do with you, then why does our appeal on the forum concern you? Have you never been treated unfairly? Do you want someone to kick you while you’re down instead of offering help when you’re in trouble? If you’re a player who exploited this bug to obtain rewards, please stay quiet. In any other fair game, the relevant solutions would have been implemented long ago—you would never be able to keep so many rewards so securely.
I want to say this to Gaijin: The difficulty of leveling up War Thunder’s Battle Pass is extremely high. It includes all sorts of demanding requirements, not to mention the “Challenges.” Other games only require maintaining a certain amount of online time, a specific number of matches played, or a certain score to level up. These are the rules YOU set yourselves—please respect them.
I’ve said this many times: Those of us who worked hard to level up the Battle Pass are the players most willing to invest time and effort in this game. We could have chosen to research new tech trees or earn more Silver Lions instead. Please don’t ignore us.
Don’t fob us off with some “End-User License Agreement (EULA).” We all know this is just manipulating the rules to avoid facing reality. If you insist on this, we might have no choice but to accept it—but the trust of the player base will be broken. Whether in games or real life, to achieve success, the “hearts of the people” (player trust) matter most. Once that trust is lost, everything is gone. How did the Soviet Union resist Germany? Was it relying on the T-34, KV-1, or those aircraft? No—it relied on the unity and solidarity of the vast numbers of peace-loving people across the Soviet Union and even the world. Be a more humane game company, Gaijin.
