The Alpha Jets are stale. They have very little twr, they’re slow, have very bad armament for air to air and for air to ground too. Now you snap your wings if you try to correct your pitch going above 890kmh ias even on high altitude maps. The BK27 especially is the second worst high caliber gun i’ve ever used. It is a lot better than the Type 155 but considering you only have 150 rounds and has the same ballistics of the aden? eh. On such a mid airframe that doesn’t hold energy and when you do you snap? I don’t know. I’ve already spaded it and it’s just bad. Every match I end up with two or three kill assists. The french alpha jet might be slightly better for packing more of a punch with the three guns but still it has no flares making it a heavier dogger version of the alpha jet A.
You need to play them like a Saab SK 60, BnZ will work in a down-tier but you need to stay conservative with your turning as you don’t retain energy super well
Alpha Jets are Mig-17 equivalent aircraft [slightly better due to having higher TWR].
Mig-17 is 2282kgf for 4417kg of mass with 13 minutes of fuel; 0.517 TWR.
Alpha jet is 2460kgf for 4205kg of mass with 14 minutes of fuel; 0.585 TWR.
Alpha Jet sustains [doesn’t bleed speed] a turn rate of over 18 degrees per second.
The Alpha Jet, with periodic flares and CCIP, is awesome in GRB.

alpha jets are actually a slightly worse version of the LA15, which outrolls, out accelerates and outrates them apart from turning tighter and having better nose authority.
Because it’s a modern jet and actually very few attackers in the game can follow the trope of “attacker heavy, bad FM cuz attacker” when in reality most people who love dogfighting fly attackers across all BR brackets because of how good they actually are (BA65K14, SM91, Il10, AM1, AD2, A26, SuperEtendard, Su7, AJS37, A10 Warthog, Su25 (the latter one can literally outdogfight F-5s)

Alpha Jet is hilariously faster than La-15
Higher TWR, higher top speed, vastly higher climb rate.
La-15 is an A6M3 while the Alpha Jet is a P51H5NA.
Is the P51H just a carbon copy of an A4E without wing snap feature? The LA-15 is also optimized for high altitude, the alpha jet for low altitude. The La-15 outrates and out circles the Alpha jet and it also out accelerates it past 550kmh of airspeed. If anything, the Alpha jet would be an La-7 and the La-15 a Ki84.
