F-106 cant fire AIM 26B from what i can see (not the most up to date stuff tho)
so for the F106 to make sense then we need MORE FALCONS
Clearly this must mean the snail will add more Falcons (no they won’t)
i hope they add the swedish falcon missiles to the j35XD. now there might even be a reason to add the j35j with falcons now. still no flares but still cool
Denmark didnt use falcons i think
Only plane atm we can get it on is the J35XS
They will!!! believe!!!
this is for sure not copium trust me bro
New reports if this gets added to the XS
Are any AIM-26 capable jets in the US right now?
To my knowledge no, the specific variants of aircraft or the full on aircraft have not been added yet
We don’t have any of the ADC planes, so no.
Imagine if we get the F-106 this patch
One can only dream…
I wonder if they remember that it has (also) got an IRSTS (AAS-2)
Also the AIM-97 would be pretty cool.
Hopefully. Seeing as its experimental HMS is apparently in the files, I would hope Gaijin would pay enough attention to give it all the proper kit
Looks like I’m going to have my work cut out for me, 1040 pages.
You dont just so happen to have something on the Hughes 71N IRST?
The Draken’s IRST? not explicitly, other than confirming it is the model number of the AAA-4 found on the F-4B, F-101s & select early F-4C’s (F-110A) and as such performance is likely similar.
And are practically just GAR-2 seekers sitting in a cradle.
As an aside note the listed detector material of the seekers, so we have a good idea of the performance delta being similar to that of the AIM-9B & -9D respectively.
The one i was on about is for the J35F and so far i’ve dug up nothing besides how to use it with falcons, but if it stays in its current state then there wont be much anything with any missile
Unfortunately, that’s an AIM-78 as the AIM-97 was apparently never mounted on any plane…
Watch it be a premium because of the experimental HMD (first time hearing about this, more info?) since Gaijin is alergic to giving the US air main tree prototype planes and experimental equipment.
At least one F-106 was fitted with an experimental HMD, which also had (at least) one Falcon mounted on an underwing pylon - this last part necessary because if deployed from the internal weapons bay, the missile seeker would be unable to see the target at all.
It ultimately went nowhere, but it set the stage for JHMCS later if I recall it right.
