i was doing a topic for this, but i have to say it here:
in it’s current form, i think this event is really bad due to 2 “small” mechanics:
- repair time
- reload time
repair time
- That means that you have to stop to be able to play again and people can just stay near you to farm you because you can’t just shoot right after it.
- Even if you want to fall back to repair, 1 guy can just follow you and block you completely from playing (yay fun…)
reload time
- the reload time is too long, just not fun to have to wait 5 secs to shoot in a “fun” event
my ideas to make it better:
- make an automatic timer to get your target up again and remove the “repair” mechanic
- reduce the reload time to 2 secs and up the score to 100 would be better i think
And you, what do you think ?

i think the automatic time instead of repairing would fix the event and an instant reload when you’re back up so you have a chance to not be soft locked

This is the main problem that prevents this event from being fun. You can’t repair and suddenly strike your opponent like in a cowboy duel. So, if you get separated from the others and don’t win the duel, the game becomes a misery.

but maybe you should add an small protection after someone repaired, this could drastically reduce the amount of player camping directly infront of you while you cannot do anything except Repair the entire time…

Not only did you somehow make girls having snowball fights boring, but you also managed to combine two of the things people hate the most about War Thunder in a single event: FOMO (making the event so frustrating but the collectible interesting enough that most people will pay rather than undergo the pain of playing) AND your lazy tolerance, even encouragement of player cheating, in this case by making a night event so the gamma crankers have an easier time of it. Possibly your worst event. Yet.

I will agree with you on this point though. If you want to hide it on other player’s vehicles, I support your ability to do so. They have added the fictional tag after the fact before. I will assume this one will get the fictional flag too. You have my support if we need to remind them again later/open a bug report etc.
