Then you haven’t played the other 7.0s, cause if you play them right you can get nukes

The conqueror’s gun 100% is better, with only the reload being worse.
Dont get me wrong, I love my conqueror, im just saying that if ability to get a nuke is sole metric by which BR should be decided, from my experience playing them, Conqueror and Caernarvon should sit higher than somua, because I have yet to drop (not get, drop) one with somua, despite having better stats with somua.

I misunderstood you then, my bad. But I agree this is silly because it is basically bringing back the Maus argument all over again; very few vehicles can pen it in a full downtier, but it will get slaughtered at a higher BR.
With underiered tanks is a lot more easy.
Better yes but no OP like that thing. As user and one of the my most played tanks T29 cant go up to 7.3 without any problem.
Is not only nukes. Is his win ratio and K/d ratio aswell. Is a very powerfull vehicles supported by strong lineup with a insane CAS. USA 7.0 is by far much better that the others nations. So a small BR bump more than probaly will be a good option.
Issue is we unforunately cant look up to data to see whenever this is true or not.
In current version of the game (as of 3.11.2025), there are only two other nations that can field a 7.0 ground vehicles:
- France with: premium AMX-13 SS.11, battlepass M46, TT AMX-13/75, TT AMX M4, TT AuF1
- Germany with: removed Panther II, removed KT 105, removed Coelian
There really isnt that much to compare, and data is both scarce (for example there is only single 7.0 heavy currently in game to which you can directly compare T29 to as far as I know, KT 105) and likely distorted (since the german 7.0 lineup is exclusively made of vehicles no longer aviable to general playerbase, more likely than not it will be played only by old, experienced players. T29 follows similiar suit, being old premium at odd BR, meaning more likely than not new players will overlook it and go for things like Clickbait).
Soviets: T-44/100, Object 268, ZSU-57-2 and 2S19M1 (SU-112/54 should go up to 7.0)
Italy, israel or UK have several 7.0 aswell but no for create a proper lineup.

and we know this how? the aviable statshark data on games played with T29 doesnt shot any trend, its all over the place across the months, and spike in games played it doesnt coincide with any sale/anniversary.

The game right now is a fest of T29, Maus, A2D, Tiger 2 sla. etc etc jut need go and take look.
And??? Tiger 2 H is much better than early turret Tiger 2 and both have the same BR. Same for M26 and T26E5 or Luchs and BTR.
2H should be 7.0.

Seeing ppl complain that the T34/30/29 are too powerful, whilst all three are mid-bad at best, is always hilarious to me.
If you want something to complain about, complain about the T26E5.
T30 I can get, T34 maybe, but the T29 is not “mid”. It’s quite good.
