T24E1 light tank: a better Chaffee

M24 should move up to Rank III anyway, and the M18 should be reclassified to a TD and moved to the TD line. Then it would leave a good spot for the T24E1 as a second Rank III light for America

Yeah, just like the M24s in most other trees. I don’t get why there’s a difference in rank tbh, it’s the same vehicle

Another case of gajin moving a vehicle up in br, not because its is eyewateringly amazing but, instead the people who play them smh.

Has a major weakness is that it got NATO engine hump syndrome which will be an issue.

It’s a price worth paying to have a better hp/t ratio.

everyone says that until the inevitable happens

Nah, you go up to 20hp/t. Well worth losing a bit of depression over the rear.

okay then this thing is going to be a spank and flank lets hope gaijin never over tiers it.

I also want this Chaffee, cause what’s better than 1 .50? 2 .50’s!

So much daka looks like a Anime Robot head. Spookton would explode if this is added.

The T122 cupola wouldn’t be a straight upgrade over the standard .50 cal in-game interestingly enough.
The heavier T121 cupola has much worse traverse speeds and elevation range than a regular .50 cal mount, while adding about 1 ton of weight. I would expect similar downsides to carry over to the lighter T122 to a lesser extent. That’s not to mention how it creates a prominent weakspot that enemies could hit over rubble or ridgelines.

T121 Cupola stats

I would therefore prefer to see the T121as a modification for the TT Chaffee, as would I like to see the T121 as a modification for the M4A3 (105). While they would be fun and effective at deleting rodents, they at least have some very clear downsides that would give players pause, which automatically makes them much more interesting modification options than all of the no-brainer add-on armor mods.

Apparently this is a 75mm T13E1, anyone know if that’s better than M6?

Edit: It’s actually already in game.

As stated in the T13E1 gun’s statcard already, there’s no difference. The gun on Chaffee was a derivative of the T13E1/M5 lightweight 75mm gun used in the B-25H and PBJ-1H Mitchell bombers, which eventually became standardized as M6.

Also, the pen values in the old wiki are outdated. Here are the current values and comparison.
