T-90 obr. 1992

+1 It would make a nice addition to the russian 10.0-10.3 lineup

gen 1 thermals on an upgraded T-72BA? Absolutely!

I’d say 10.3 with the T-80BV would be great, if it received 3BM42.

10.7-11.0 would be great if it received its 3BM46

I love new additions if they actually bring something to the table, Russia doesn’t need another broken 10.0 or 10.3 tank thanks. The idea would’ve been neat back in early 2020 or late 2019.

-1 for me

Its positioning is very similar to the T72B 1989 in the game

filler, more variety, and making up for the 2 decade lack of T-72 variants.

Hell, you jump straight from a 1985 T-72B straight to the T-90A with gen 2 thermals and 3BM60.

This thing is a perfect stopgap. You have the chassis and turret of the T-72B 1989, the systems of the 1990 T-72BA, as well as a few sprinkles of other things here and there.

It’s no more broken than any other russian vehicle. It has gen 1 thermals, 3BM46 at max, a cast turret, and a base model with either the V-84MS or the V92S2.

it’s a direct upgrade to it, and seeing the gap between that and the T-90A…

This model does not have thermals.

TO1-KO1 would like a word, used on both 1A43 and 1A45T

That isn’t a thermal sight though, is it? I thought it was just an infrared sight. I couldn’t find anything saying 1992 models, outside of upgrades to ESSM sights, used a thermal imaging system. Although on looking it up, there are mentions of the TO1-PO2T being used on the T-90.

Yeah no getting back I have no clue why I responded with T01K-01. My brain died, though I meant T01-P02.
Thanks for the correction of that. I’ve been multitasking for a little bit and blanked on the official name of the sight.

Oh, no worries! I didn’t know about the thermal sight until you mentioned it myself, I’ll rectify the post.

How in the world is this broken?

Russian 10.0 far outmatches all other TT 10.0s and don’t get me started on France not even having any lmao, view it from a outside perspective and you’d see. The Obj. 292, 2S38 and T-72AV being all at the same BR also doesn’t help (not to mention the T-80UD).

The Soviets made by far the most amount of armored vehicles in history, it only makes sense they have more options. All of those tanks have poor survivability and are very easy to one shot. Just because there is a line-up doesn’t mean its OP.

T-73B (1989) is 10.0
T-90A is 10.7

Therefore, T-90 obr.1992 could perfectly be a 10.3. A second 10.3, so that T-80B isn’t all alone, hahah.

Now you have at 10.7 2S6, Mi-35M and only thing that Russia at 10.7 doesn’t have is good plane for cas.

And if they add some cool 10.7 ifv and maybe Object 186 you’ll have a good line up.
