Not likely to get it as an 11.3 premium.
Would have been nice to have had the T-80UE-1 in the tree instead, but whatever.

Guess there’s still some small hope for the T-80UA in the tree instead in the future.
Yeah, that would practically be this, but it’s T-80U and not T-80UD with uparmoured T-80BV hull (no impact in the game).
IRL T-80UA had the best 1G46 sight ever being the 1G46-2M. Although I doubt thats gonna be anything to the game.
It will practically be this T-80UE-1 in game, but without thermals (IIRC it never recieved one) and with 3BM60.
Even though DM53 fired from L55 penetrates hull and lack of thermals I believe its worth of 11.7 vehicle.
Upgraded T-80U (Cyprus) since 2005 … In 2009, Cyprus bought another 41 tanks based on the T-80U, but the name of the modification is not known for sure, sometimes the name T-80UA is found …
In general, there is a Cypriot website…
As a variant.
Has this variant ever existed in metal?
Then Cyprus T-80UA in USSR TT or just Russian variant if there’s one with Plisa would be great.
Upgraded T-80BA tanks(Object 219RB),T-80UA (Object 219AM-1) and T-80UE1 (Object 219AS-1) were accepted for supply by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 435F dated 04/16/2005, and by Order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation No. 043 dated 05/27/2005 and into service…
However, due to the changed policy towards the preservation of T-80 series tanks, mass serial modernization of vehicles according to these options was practically not carried out…
Последние варианты модернизации Т-80 (livejournal.com)
About Cyprus -in most sources, tanks of the first delivery (41 units-1996) and the second delivery (41 units-2009) are designated as T-80U/UK…the composition of the modernization of the first batch (2005), except for the thermal imager, is not exactly known, but 3BM60/3BM59 were not supplied to Cyprus for sure…also, I do not think that they installed the Ainet system and changed the gun…
If there was one to have it installed, sure.
That would mean no Cyprus would be needed.
So in other words they are not T-80UA exactly and probably are not close by configuration.
Although it’s more 40° horizontal stabiliser I care about rather than thermal.
Of course, it is difficult to prove, but …
@Yontzee can you please made a suggestion for Object 219M.
which is this thing
what is basically what T-80 could become instead of the BVM modification.
Thanks.
Oh, apologies, I took it as Buran-M.
It is sometimes taken as T-80BM, although original index seems like T-80BV-RM.
I found something else in my Archive…So if you wish, you can ask the developers of the T-80UA with a thermal imager…
Maybe thats what I was confused about.
There are photos, there is information from 38 research institutes, there is a logic for the supply of thermal imagers by year, there are articles by S. Suvorov/BMPD and here is Gurkhan…I do not know what else developers need?
OKR Motorbol is about T-80 modernisations programms, Russia being largest T-80 haver.
Thank you, that completely ensures it for me.
Do you have PDF file for it? I was able to find the site for one, however I couldnt downoload it as something is odd with the site.
Click here, a direct download link will open in a new window…
