T-80U-E1 need better ammuntion if went to 11.7

False equivalence fallacy. YF-16 is a prototype vehicle, ammunition is not.
On top of that, T-80UE is a real tank using a real production gun with chamber pressure limits lower than that of newer munitions.
Just as Type 10 cannot fire DM73, T-80UE-1 cannot fire anything more than 3BM46.

JASDF had never used F-16AJ,instead they turned to domestic production and used F-2.F-16AJ was just like swedish T-80 U that only came for biding to win orders for mass production.IRL there even not exist a code called 'F-16AJ‘,so that’s you round logic?

Frankly speaking the new BR adjustment just not that friendly to T80UE1 gift buyer under rules now:(

In fact, as far as I can see, in reality the T-80UE1 can use 3BM60

The YF-16 wasnt chosen instead it was the F-15J that won that competition the F-2 started development way later

yes id been searching and since T80UE1 use 2A46M4 same as T80BVM(later mod) latter could use 3BM60,there shall exists possibility for t80ue1 to use advanced sabot since its turret was modified a lot.we shall consider its autoloader for a modified.

that’s right but from the similarity we could said F-2 is such similar to F-16

it doesnt “need” 3bm60 just like clickbait and 2pl didnt really need new rounds, hell its only a 50mm increase from 3bm42 so it hardly makes a difference, but the weird part is why did the others receive new rounds with their br increase but not t80

Correction: The 120mm JSW L/44 gun on the Type 10 can fire all NATO ammunitions, it has a higher pressure tolerance than most NATO cannons/breeches, and the Type 10 APFSDS shot is very “hot” loaded, to get similar results on a L/44 barrel to a L/55 barrel. So the Type 10 can in fact fire DM73 shot, as well as all variants of the M829 APFSD shot. They just don’t, because Japan didn’t purchase/license that ammunition. To my awareness the Type 10 APFSDS shot is the only non NATO compatible shot aside of other experimental shot in development, every other NATO shot can be fired from any NATO standardized guns, this includes the Type 10 120mm JSW L/44 and L/55 gun variants.

So in short the Type 10 can fire DM73, but it does not, because Japan does not use that ammunition.

Type 10 APFSDS pens the same as DM53 out of the same length of barrel.
There’s no proof it can withstand DM73 pressures, only proof it can withstand SHARD Mk2 as that round’s designed for all 120s in NATO service, including the weakest Ariete gun.

guys id found that T-80UE1’s autoloader could propllell SABOT not longer than 740MM.here is the material.
And this means T-80UE1 is able to carry 3BM60.

Then how long is the 3BM60?Watch the picture below.

We can see its just 735mm.
But warn that this modify&update is only for the T-80UE1,T-80U doesnt has these update.
And Im preparing ISSUE to submit.

If everything they previously fought also got moved up, then it basically change nothing

Im here to announce that issue for T-80U-E1 could carry 3BM60 is certificated,Now there exists the possibility for receiving 3BM60.

yes id founder materials and submit as issue and got certificated. Now we could wait for T-80UE-1’s new shell.
Attention that this is only for T-80U-E1,mass production T-80U dont get this update to carry 3BM60.

DM53, 63 and 73 are the same shot, propellant is the only difference.

Also yes, DM53 pens around the same as Type 10 shot from the L/44 barrel, but the difference is Type 10 APFSDS weighs ~4kg, the DM53 ~5kg, the Type 10 is a much smaller shot similar in size to DM33, but over-pressured.
