T-72B3A (Arena-M): 4-Lines of Defense

I understand, I was being sarcastic.

Hi @Smin1080p_WT .

I recently submitted a historical report concerning a vehicle that is already implemented in the game. Despite the clearly factual nature of my report supported by relevant documentation, I was informed that “this is not the place for suggestions.” However, as the Reporting Manager can clearly see, my submission was not a suggestion but a historically grounded report.

Additionally, the report and its comments were locked, yet a “Response Needed” label was applied afterward. I find this contradictory, as it’s unclear how a response is expected when further commenting has been disabled.

I would appreciate clarification on this matter.

Best regards.

Ah yes, the classic “Report manager #1” shenanigans

Hello.

From this single screenshot, im not able to see any context or what the report is about.

Please attach the full report link if you require a comment.

Bug Report Manger #1 is whatever the first person to comment on the report is designated as. If a second mod comments on the same report, they become #2 and so on.

Bug Report Manager #1 is simply every mod or staff who is the first to answer. Its not the pre-set tag for any single mod.

As I understand now, Mavericks and Hellfire are completely ineffective against this tank?

it protect you from CAS AGM

I’ve definitely been blown up by both with the T-72B3A

Depends on the angle I suppose. By stats Arena-M should intercept them no issues provided they fall within it sensor angle and speed

It 100% should but bug reporting wouldn’t be funny if Gaijin didn’t hire clueless members to roleplay ‘‘bug report managers’’ , would it …

Pretty sure Devs have used the same KBM commercial i did link in my report in order to model Arena-M in the game since they have implemented the same 70-1000m/s inteception speed range.

New sources have emerged pointing to the fact that final / mass production version might have even higher interception speed range and more importantly they show the angles covered by the transmitter/receiver modules ( up to 87deg from vertical ) :

I just haven’t nailed down the patent number yet. Once i do i will make a new report even though my initial report has more than enough sources to make the argument that Arena-M offers hemispherical protection.

Hell even Arena ( first of the name ) offered higher vertical coverage compared to the Arena-M we have ingame :

So, wait, the APS doesnt work properly AND it underperforms from that should be on T-72B3A? Typical, unfortunate, but expected (also, being “Arena-E” in the brochures doesnt help since “It isnt Arena-M exactly”, just saying and having a feeling it something that tech mods would lunch onto)

Yes and yes . “Arena-E” was essentially the only argument used to dismiss my report without acknowledging that it’s simply the export name for Arena-M.

This overlooked a wealth of additional evidence, including statements from the system’s chief technical designer, not to mention that the developers themselves have implemented the same characteristics in the game.

To properly address these nuances, competent technical moderation is essential something we unfortunately seem unable to secure at the moment. To be clear, no one expects technical moderators to be experts in every field. However, it increasingly feels as though some are no longer making the effort to engage meaningfully with reports. Instead of thoroughly reading the details and evaluating the provided sources especially when the topic falls outside their expertise they often latch onto superficial cues and make hasty judgments.

Only competent community managers like Smin1080 have the ability to resolve situations like this but realistically, it’s not ideal to keep pinging him every time a technical moderator mishandles a case.

But I digress. As I mentioned, I’m currently trying to find the patent number for the diagrams I listed above. Once I have it, I’ll create a new report.

So from what I’ve read, this vehicle wasn’t implemented correctly? Or am I missing something?
