T-34-85 (STP-S-53) - A Stable Legend

After looking at the materials posted, I found that there was also a stabilizer designed for the 76mm gun, the T-34(STP-34). This sounds very promising and would be a great addition to the game.

If I remember correctly that stabilizer wasn’t built

Very cool. I wasn’t expecting it to be added that fast.

Man i wish they paired it up with the mod for the T-34-85M and added it as merge between those two mods because this alone doesn’t offer much

Also 1 plane stab works even better compared to the M4s gyro which only works till 24 kph, while 1p stab works till 40 kph. Dont believe me try out Type 59 which has same type of stab.

Not this patch it seems, unfortunately

I don’t know why, but this whole T34 Stab announcement was just maybe an April fools… I mean the day it got announced it was the 30 March so… and never had news since. As cool as it looks like for T34 enjoyers, this probably won’t gonna happen imo

+1

heh

so much for being added to the game

Yet another update passes, and still no Stabilized T-34-85. Maybe the stabilized T-34-85 is the friends we made along the way or something

Tbh, a stabilised T-34 would either be O.P at its current B.R, or be moved so high it won’t be able to pen anything. I think the stabiliser is really the only thing that the 34-85 needs to be a truly excellent tank (at its current B.R, maybe slightly higher). Gaijin will go on a warpath to make sure that never happens. A 1945 Model mind you had an electronic turret traverse as well, Gaijin and Russian-bias crybabies will never accept this.

I had seen people theorizing it’d probably be at 6.0 or 6.3 for balance reasons. Which honestly makes a lot of sense, especially with the electric traverse.

Does this get the better turret turn speed of 1946 variant?

Also someone should file bug report so it gets 20 extra horsepower from W-2-34M

well its technicly a better variant of T-34-85 isn’t?

Yes it’s on a M1946 model, the current ingame Russian T-34-85 is a M1944 model (in theory).

This would be like the Chinese T-34-85 Gai with a stabilizer
