Swedish Squadron Vehicle For Air?

Well Well Well. A copy paste Draken. As a Swedish main who hasn’t spent a cent on the game (sanity IS depleting), I’ve been waiting for this for a while. Something unique, capable of playing in Air RB but also with a decent CAS loadout to go with my T-80 U and Leopard 2A4 etc. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard about a Swedish squadron vehicle. Then i saw the Zenturion video. I’m mad. In this coming update, a new F/A 18 is getting to the tech tree. Sweden’s SECOND ONE, after the air loadout only finish one. Would i have liked to see it as a squadron vehicle? Kinda. Would I have liked to see something somewhat new or different that could offer good overall performance and a different experience than the tech tree? Hell yea. But I guess all were getting is a slightly different, ( i think it might have improved bomber ability), copy paste Draken. But hey, at least Gaijin can bait people into thinking they got around to adding the F-35. I’m appalled, outraged, disappointed and overall frustrated by this new ctrl c + ctrl v jet. I wanted better, but i guessed i shouldn’t have raised my hopes

I swear the definition of copy paste gets looser everytime someone uses it

did i get something wrong?

Its a unique model, with a unique name, with a unique armament what is copy paste about it?

Its like calling the leopard 2a7 a copy paste of thw leopard 2K

Also it seems like your expectation for a squadron vehicle were far too high, why would you get a squadron f18

look to be fair, i guess it isnt exactly copy pasted. But it’s based off the Draken, the name isn’t unique as far as the F-35 already exists, and i guess the ordanance is different but thats an aspect that doesn’t really change things. The F-15E has largely different armament to the F-15C, but it still feels pretty much similar in terms of gameplay and flight characteristics. And based on the un-textured model on the dev server, it looks damn well like a draken

Cuz germany is getting a premium version, thats why

So?

Its still a unique plane if it stays at 10.3 and gets the supposed aim9Ns while keeping its flares, itll be pretty good, likely the best draken for dogfighting because i dont believe it keeps its radar so it should be much lighter, and itll be the best draken for cas cause it actually gets bombs

well i would hope that maybe if Gaijin has 2 premium F/A 18’s, there could also be a squadron version too. Look, if (theoretically) u could decide what vehicle it would be, what would u pick?

Wait i just realised, you complain about this being copy paste but you wanted a squadron f18 which would arguably be more copy paste??

This f35 sounds way more interesting than an 8th f18 in the game

Plus the nose looks funny and thats reason enough for me

ok well u got me their. I guess thats just me wanting acsess to one of my personal fave jets without the grind. A f/a18 would %100 be copy paste, but i wouldnt mind that cuz i rlly like it. All though that is opinionated judgement, so perhaps im being a bit hypocritical. whoops

“I think an unique modified export model of a domestic vehicle is copy-paste, it should have been a foreign vehicle identical to that in two other trees instead”

Lol sometimes u get a bit carried away typing u dont properly asses what ur saying. And yes, their is a lack of people willing to admit their wrong

The only issue I have with it is the fact that it’s a squadeon vehicle. Why not a regular TT one? This is just gonna take ages to unlock now and since we have 4 drakens now and only 1 is regular tt I kinda hate what gaijin did to it.

The F35 Draken is not a “copy paste” but a unique model of Draken for the Danish.

There is no possibility the F/A-18C MLU2 would have been a squadron vehicle as this is Finlands current top multirole fighter in game.

yes everything

the F35 WNDS that we’ll get is as much a copy paste of the J35s as the MiG 27K is of the MiG-23M
