People would cry less if a more realistic option was added
Yeah sure, but at this point I’m not seeing gaijin removing it, so the only logical place for the UH would be at 10.3 (seeing that gaijin use it as the lowest br for every hellfire armed heli) in order to buff the line, wich will still be a good addition. The issue is that the veichles were not delivered yet so some time will be required in order to see a norvegian painted sea hawk.
I suggested the removal of the AHS because i see so many people cry about a helicopter they never see. People should know gaijin wanted to fill a gap and added the AHS because they need something better than a Bo 105. The AHS is the same deal as the F16AJ, people should also know gaijin would try to make money on the Heli tree with a helicopter and considering Denmark isnt a subtree of sweden its unlikely they would’ve considered our Fennec’s but they also are more 9.3 material. Again i dont care if the swedish or Norwegian UH-60’s would be worse at least its one less thing to here people complain about but then i remembered people would complain about them to. I figured regardless it wpuld be a more realistic option. As for the MI-28 there isn’t anything to replace it with which is why im fine with its addition. I cant argue against it because i know gaijin wants a premium helicopter, if i could get rid of the T80U with a finnish patria or their leopards with Patrias i would. But thats for another topic.
Also they could add this, absolutely dumb idea but i don’t really care, im the idiot who plays helicopters
You are correct, but I think that the AHS will remain regardless for balance (even tought considering that top tier is a mess right now and f&f atgm are the best, I’ve probably seen more HKP3 than AHS). As for other options, the only remaining stuff could be the thing You posted (as an even maiby), the Danish Fennec, and the future sea hawk. And that will probably be it, as all the other helicopters like the Lynx, the Danish MH60, the various little birds and Mi8 are disarmed, with an exclusion of the Norvegian NH90 (with two stingray torps).
Again, i think if the snail wants to expand the helicopters they can and will do what they want. F5C was given aspects from multiple different nations, its very likely that if the snail wants to expand the heli tree they will do what they want. I dont care, helicopters with FnF are worthless as it stands but honestly id rather gaijin remove the AHS so i dont have to hear people cry about a vehicle they’ve never seen.
Ay, we missing ammo for the 122s apperently, gimme my AA shell
The 122s don’t have that shell since it’s not listed in AMKAT. The 2A6 should get it if it uses it though to give a slight reason to use it instead of the 122s.
whats AMKAT?
Ammunitionskatalog. A series of documents spanning from WW2 to today where every munition used by Sweden is listed from missiles to mines to regular bullets with some exceptions for the more secretive munitions like Psvinggr 94 / STRIX (declassified of course).
is that like an official one by the government or something?
Seems kinda weird for Elbit themselves to list selling the shell to Sweden but sweden not mentioning them
Yeah it’s official, only the basic HE and slpprj m/95 is listed other than the training rounds, although that one is from 2014, with the more recent ones still being classified. The 122 doesn’t even have the electronics required to program shells IIRC.
That’s probably why, the mention of the sale is from 2022 and delivery was a period of 10 months, so they would have gotten it between 2022 - 2023
Is this for the 2A5 in general or just for the Strv122s? cause they do say it’s compatible
Unless they changed the electronics
Does mention that alongside the shells they also got “Data Setting Units” if that’s it
i looked trough the 2 sources and they arent enoug, aquiring the shells doesnt necesarily lead to programmability
only 1 article mentions data units to programm it, so a second source would be needed either way
What? All models are in game already, you mean Draken, right? Because we are missing 4-5 Draken variants.
Technically both the SH37 and SHS37 could considering the only difference is they are naval i see no reason for them, regardless thats enough reason for gaijin. Problem is players dont like them and gaijin would rather add a vehicle that could make them a bit of money or fill a gap, none of which tbe SH could do.
SH is actually recce, but.
Regardless you know what i mean, its more than enough for gaijin in terms of adding it.
It is, but a Draken is a better option.
Im gonna be honest id rather not. We need a TT draken before we get yet another draken on the right side.
Sweden is acquiring an AA version of the new TGB24, perhaps we’ll see it in 2025 irl.
