RVV-MD exists for russian export. Which afaik is the closest thing to the r-73M that there is firm info on. Idk how far R-73M itself got in terms of development.

Possibly, id hope for Aim-9R as the first FPA seeker missile as its the “worst one” Since its basically an Aim-9M with and FPA seeker. Should be eligible for a select few navy aircraftaircraft (essentially a SRAAM situation)

Well I mean many nations like China still do not have any self produced IRCCM. Plus the next update will probably focus on ground vehicles a bit more, or ships since there is like only 5 new ground vehicles this update and half are literally premium. I’d expect them to come in first update next year.

PL10
The latest and finest WVRAAM from PLAAF. This missile is very modern (Since 2013), it supports TVC and features a range that is similar to the MICA if not longer. It is reported that this missile has some really good IRCCM, but not too many regarding info was disclosed. It also supports LOAF.
Aircrafts feature this missile: J20, J10B/C, J16, J15, JF17 Blk. 3. Maybe some version of J11 but I am not sure.
MICA-IR
The succeeder of MM2. It is as the name says, an IR version of MICA. Features TVC and a way longer range, in terms of kinematic performance, it’s basically a MICA EM with slightly more drag. Not too much explanation needed here since everyone know this.
Aircrafts feature this missile: Mirage 2000-5 later version, Rafale F2-F4, and possibly some Su30 version from India.
MICA-NG
Newest version of MICA. Equipped to the latest version of rafale and has double the range of original MICA, due to improved lighter electronics which allows a second rocket segment to be implemented. MICA NG is one of the few duo impulse missile out there.
Range is about 80NM or 150KM from the MBDA website.

Probably the air to air missile with the longest range so far. Again newest and finest by the PLA, and by what we know it mainly serve the purpose of an ACWAS killer, it is however, capable of killer highly agile targets like jet fighters if in need.
Speculated range is about 210NM or 400KM minimum

This is straight up propaganda. PL-10 max range = 20km. MICA IR max range = 60km.

The PL-10E (export version) is rated as a 20km missile.
If you extrapolate the range of the PL-10 to the difference between the PL-15E (export) and the PL-15 you get 28km range for the PL-10.
Which is much less than the MICA IR.
It has an FPA seeker which means it has a good IRCCM, didn’t see a source claiming its IRCCM was better than a 9X/IRIS-T/MICA.

Exactly. In theory it enters service 2024, but at this rate, we know nothing. I just don’t understand some of this hype like: ‘it will smoke PL15 and Meteor’ or what ever, just quite… IDK, JATM is still 90% unknown.
99.9% stuff about JATM is unknown
Rule of thumb, if you cant see it, it doesnt exist, especially for war thunder
I wont expect it to be added to War Thunder until 2030 when some stuff about that missile is known
It will also balance future top tier as american planes with arguably best stealth, bit better than russian and chinese counterparts, will have a bit worse missiles
