yeah that post is confusing izd 30/al51 and izd 177s. izd 177s is like al41f1s but much better lifetime and slightly more thrust at 14500 kgf normal. al51/izd30 is completely new engine design with 16500 kgf normal

no its fine lol, its still a look at an engine option for su75. in my og post you can see theres option for either 14500 kgf enfine or 16500 kgf engine. this is simply one of the engine options

Izd. 50 not gonna be present on air shows, because it’s strictly for domestic use. Another cool thing about Izd 177S I found is that it’s designed for the same mounts as AL-31F. So any airframe with 31s can fit Izd. 177S

16 tons of thrust for Izd 177 goes hard. We are getting closer to AL-41 levels of thrust. And the fact that you can place it in any flanker airframe with zero problems.
