yeah, with mouse aim feels better i agree, yesterday for just a little touch in my rudders i was making cobras, was kinda annoying lol
Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection
AOA it’s a function. If it’s do more than 120 probably it’s can’t recover in the same movement direction.
It’s will be more like full flip
Video evidence is tricky, depends on how rapid the maneuver onset is. If the maneuver was started perfectly level to the ground or not… etc
bruh k
Currently the Su-27 turnrate is accurate sustained, in air rb they nerfed instructor AoA a little so it feels a little worse there (though retains better now especially above 900). But in full real for the most part its buffed with sustained turnrates meeting manuals perfectly now from my testing today.
So it’s definitely better in SIM? Better turn etc?
would you mind testing the su27’s AoA at low speeds, low speed maneuverability, stuff like that? they clearly nerfed that area (im talking about with full reall controlls)
they made it more stable so I’d imagine its AoA is less now
It’s su-35 (early) with canards, like and su-33 and etc, can pull cobra more 100°.
sustained rate is better yes
if you didnt watched the video just say it…
but why tho? is that accurate? can be changed back to what it was?
Never , this is gaijin , if this was F-15 it would be fixed yesterday
İf canards are so amazing and great with many benefits , does anyone know why the Russians didn’t put Canards on Su-35? Has anyone read a book or article mentioning this?
Also , does the Su-33 have forward Canardas like Gripen?
Or are they like on the KFİR?
(I just realized the title of the thread includes SU-35-33 etc)
the center of gravity I recall being reported as wrong before it became more stable because they adjusted the center of gravity which I assume is more accurate now than before
Canards were not used because the Su-35’s FCS (Flight Control Systems not Fire Control Systems) was advanced enough it didnt need canards to retain high level of control
The canards on the Gripen cause the static instability and produce additional lift. The Su-33’s don’t… they just produce additional lift and vortices for improved AoA / handling at low speed for carrier operations.
There are benefits and drawbacks to canard delta vs tailed delta designs. Tailed delta leans more towards subsonic performance whereas canard delta leans more towards supersonic performance.
ok…;/
@MiG_23M @DracoMindC do you guys think gaijin will ever implement FCS of some sort? İs it possible to implement in warthunder?
