Now that it’s been a bit since the FMs have been changed, how does the Su-27S compare to the SM flight performance wise?
I always just kinda assumed the SM was just better, but I did hear somewhere that it was also a bit heavier, so I’m unsure.

It’s almost the same, the difference is negligible i’d say. The SM is indeed heavier but it has upgraded engines which makes up for the weight increase.
Except for SU34, is there any Sukhoi products that can carry KH38 with a TVD leaser pod? I only know SU35 might have that, but not sure if any SU30 has.
Only Su-34, 35 and 57. I dont have any informations about 30.
The Su-27SM is worlds better than the Su-27S

It’s not like this game isn’t about unlocking stuff and why would anyone every fly a 13.0BR plane when 14.0BR is the max? Are they stupid? :D
In Sim people usually fly things they like but some people still also grind, and I would 100% fly the F-15A when I am going for the C. So I already learn the basics of the airframe.

Several ECM pods for different aircrafts are presented in files for several years, sometimes bots in hangar equip them.

Don’t think I’ve seen one in years, sim or RB. Just feels like ARH carriers (good ones) should still be higher, especially in sim.
Su27SK in theory has it equipped by default, and Su33 also has it a lot since it has even less CMs. Up to now I have not seen a J11 without it. So not unthinkable that they decide that it should be in game without functions before everything else is in sight.
You mean like all the other ECCM systems not modelled. As it stands Russia is the only nation with ECCM on an Aircraft and that’s the IRCC system on Ka-52 and the Su-39
On a contrary I think - ECM doesn’t exist now, but the pods, if introduce even just visually, would still take away wingtips pylons and thus taking away your 2 R-73 (it ain’t much, but loosing missiles without anything in return is annoying)
Also Mi-24, but not only USSR/Russia have it
