We have to push on gaijin on fixing radar scan pattern. All “nation mains” because issue that makes russian radars utter trash, plagues every single radar set in the game. Well every exept few exeptions and thats literally FEW.
Everyone will benefit greatly from it.

I wish they add some old variants… Personally the 90s are my limit, I don’t have much interest beyond that era
MiG-29 should have the real life 0.86 oswald coefficient. The FM should be consistent, so like F-15, the same oswald.

By most other game standards (except the buggy AAA games of today) - no. By Gaijin standards - this is average patch day level of completeness.
Finally a jet that is known to be nimble at least feels like it. Now they just got to spend a bit of time on the IRST and we golden (not counting bugs affecting multiple aircraft).
You don’t have to tell me, lol. I didn’t say it there because I keep mentioning it every chance I get and I though I would not do it this time and enjoy the rare Wanker W.

I dont understand why we havent recieved Su-30Sm with this patch, even with fm buff and engine upgrade Su-27Sm still lacks behind due to its trash radar, not to mention Russian aviation has been neglected for a long time in terms of proper fighter addition and this patch was great chance to add proper counterpart.
Guess they are saving Su-30Sm to next uptade with J10B/11B…

Because it takes time to do these planes and they had barely few weeks to cook this patch. And even then both EF and rafale came in terrible state with broken radars and questionable fms.
I know but Su30Sm implementation shouldnt be so hard, in fact they should’ve give priority to Su30 instead of 34 so we could have recieve our proper fighter with this patch.
Dont get me wrong i love my SU34 but i prefer a proper fighter instead of another Op cas plane.

Doesn’t it have tvc? They cant even properly do delta canards and tvc missiles. This thing might be the most complicated plane they will add in years.
Yeah it’s been quite a while since we actually got a FM change from community input, last time was probably the gripe (F-15E and EFT do not count because it was very soon after dev).
Also with the new engines the overall performance, especially when loaded with missile, has increased massively, with a good radar the SM would really be a menace now. Before when I tried to climb at the match start on average I would get to 10k meters at mach 1.2 and go 600kph IAS after the first notch, now it’s getting to 11-12k meters, mach 1.5 and is above mach 1 after that first notch. It’s basically F-15 level of performance

I believe it has TVC, one thing for sure they need to upgrade their servers and their engines, these new planes and weapon systems cannot be handled by current builds.
Yeah flight performance became really good, it can actually gain speed during turning now, it feels like F15E at this point, lul.

There’s no apparent reason on why the Su-30 wasn’t chosen over the 34, but the Su-30 is not better than the Su-27sm flight performance wise, certainly not now. It’s same thrust but heavier. Instead the Su-30SM imho it’s too modern, not in the sense of too strong, but in the sense that it would be completely made up FM and avionics wise. It’s also better to receive it when more modern weapons arrive imho.
Also I don’t really understand why everyone wants the Su-30SM. Even if we don’t want to look at fulcrums the Su-27M exists and it would suit warthunder better than the su30 imho.

It is a smidge fishy, though, how good the SEP is at high speed, but we would have to do some actual tests to confirm this.
Imho you are being kind saying fishy lol, it’s extremely likely over performing as it feels like an F-15E as @Panther2995 said… funny thing is that we can’t use those SEP diagrams because apparently they were for the T-10 lol
