I’m gigahappy although i still want a light mig29 with r73s, i might just research the german tree at this point lol
Btw now that they improved the flankers overall energy retention the su 33 might be a good pick for an alternative gameplay.

I literally complained about how the Su-27SM was supposed to get the AL-31F-M1’s in it’s second batch of deliveries, did someone report that, or was gaijin looking for it?

It might get revised once they add a new fulcrum variant, although it’s not as bad as the flanker was…
It’s also mostly a instructor issue contrary to the su27

Oh man guys, Su-27SM is less sufferable! Su-34 feels the same (as last patch), checking 27 and J-11, then it’s time to test flight the Su-33!

How are Su-27s are called as subtypes?
Why on WT-wiki Su-27SM called Flanker-B, but Wikipedia says Flanker-E?

So there is confusion then and I want to discuss it
Su-27SM is going to do much better in WVR if you know how to fly it. Su-33 appears to be a menace at 13.0, but I won’t know for a while, as I have to grind it (not gonna just buy it outright) so I don’t have it spaded and aced yet.
Su-27 feels great for what it is too. Just had a decent match in the J-11 for the first time in forever.
What a great patch man. Not where the FM’s need to be, but better for sure.

This also means that the su-30sm will not only be super good at bvr but decent at wvr, even more if it gets the TVC…
Yeah. Maaaybe it will fair better in BVR thanks to better radar, but as long as it keeps unchanged R-77 (IIRC they have too much drag on supersonic speeds) it tied to WVR, but TVC and canards can do only this much against European delta canards and Chinese J-10 (well, maybe with superior R-73, as long as it isnt spinning out of control)

I believe they’ll add the 77-1 to the su-30sm, maybe not at release tho
As of now, rafale is brick so you can discard it, i have feeling Su-27 after changes can beat it in BFM.

It’s the Eurofighter that seems overtuned right now.
It literally has an ITR close to 35~ degrees per second ingame.

Yep, in sims, its probably better, as flanker was but now, in air rb its pain.
