Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection

I see.

Oh, ok.

What I was talking about is very low speed bleed at supersonic speeds.
About -10 km/h each second while turning at 12 G at ~1200 km/h (sea lvl, 20 min fuel, pylons with no missiles).

Not as close as actual F-16, but I must say, it can contest F-15 now instead of failing after one circle.

Still only part of the problem. No vertical tracking in TWS is another one.

Got sauce? Link to a thread or a screenshot of the DM (if the other person permits).

now that the Su-27SM has the new engines, it is the Su-27SM3

Not exactly. Apparently later Su-27SM’s were refitted with the same engines.

Plus the SM3 would have extra pylons.

Is it not sm3? It has 2 more missiles which means it’s sm3 no?

it has 2 more missiles already, the only difference is that they added them with the double belly pylons which are fictional on the Su-27SM, rather than adding extra wing pylons like the Su-27SM3, at this point it is effectively an SM3 in every aspect but name

Makes a big difference for munitions other than the R-77.

the only difference would be being able to take 2 more R-27ER if you choose to instead of only extra R-77

I’m talking about Kh-29TD’s in a CAS role.

Whether the R-77 double pylons are compatible or not with the SM, that’s still a separate question. Its still an Su-27SM.

SM3 can mount 14 missiles and has the ability to carry the more modern R77-1, and i think It has a better radar, but nothing special.

SM3 never received the better radar and it is 12 missiles, the double belly R-77 racks are Su-35 only

I think even the current SM we have can carry the 77-1

Su27sm3 received 2 extra pylons, however they were on the wings. But, because we got double rack pylons on the sm (which never existed), it is essentially an sm3. At least for air to air

Will be fixed in a future update.
