Su-33 will be DOA unless it is 13.0.
Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection
Probably also means J-15 as C&P
The J-15 isn’t the copy of the SU-33 but uses the frame of the Ukrainian T10K-3 and pretty much everything else is Chinese made or assembled in China for the very least. Later J-15 variants like the J-15T are 100% indigenous with absolutely zero reliance on Russian parts and the base J-15 would play entirely differently from the SU-33 like a different radar and A2A missiles.
J-15 Uses a copy of the T-10K-7, not the 3. Except for the new radio equipment everything else is a complete copy
The T-10K was never Ukrainian
Ukraine sold T-10K-7 inherited from the USSR
Still worthy to note that J-15’s new radar allows for it to fire PL-12 Fox 3s.
The T10 was still Ukrainian as it was Ukrainian owned, there isn’t anything going around it - the origin may be USSR tied but that’s different.
Except for the new radio equipment everything else is a complete copy
The J-15 has a new radar, the KLJ-4, the same RWR as found on the J-8F and PL-12/PL-8Bs - the T10 purchased by China was also not airworthy which is another thing you forgot to mention.
supposed new “leak list”
I know we can’t trust these 100% but man if true… It’s over russiabros
It’s incorrect. Gzasbi already said so. Only trust the ones from the discord and from Yukari.
This is not exactly how you describe…
the T-10K-7 was in non-flying condition at the time of transfer to Russia in December 1991 (or planned engine replacement/new equipment according to the flight test program)…
This does not mean that it was defective or incomplete…this is a new aircraft at that time-produced at the factory in 1990, the first flight at the factory on December 27, 1990…that is, at the time of the transfer of the aircraft to Russia, they were only a year old…
You make it sound like they designed and built it themselves.
I’ve written only the hull of the aircraft, and the control system, everything else has been replaced.
What gives this one away as especially suspect is the BTR-80 Kliver before the BTR-82A/AT.
You make it sound like they designed and built it themselves
You’re just making the assumption, never have I stated or suggested that it was Ukrainian built.
the T-10K-7 was in non-flying condition at the time of transfer to Russia in December 1991
I think you mean China, we’re talking about the J-15, the cousin of the SU-33 - and all you’ve done is rephrase my previous sentence.
The T10 was not airworthy at the time of purchase by China, it was only bought for evaluation and was already deemed out of date by the Chinese (or in the near future at least).
or planned engine replacement/new equipment according to the flight test program - This does not mean that it was defective or incomplete
Something which never took place clearly by your wording and I should mention yet again I never said it was defective or incomplete, I’m not sure where you pulled that out from.
It’s sad to see the state of Russia in AIR RB at the moment, it’s been a while since I played WT but damn, things haven’t gotten better, FMs are still horrible and now almost every other nation not only has superior missiles but also superior FMs and radars
thats funny.
Excluding the new su 34, other nations have everything better, the only Russian plane that has a decent radar is the mig29smt but the FM is still terrible and the r77 is sad to say the least.
It was bought by China, where the machine was subsequently studied to create a Chinese carrier-based fighter based on the Su-33…Just as the Varyag was officially bought for a casino in Macau and became the Liaoning aircraft carrier…
The non-flying condition of the term is dual, for example, he could “drop a spoke from a wheel” so for this period of time he was in a non-flying condition…
T-10K-7…
