Su-34 just doesn’t have RWR, on its own it can relly only on limited jammers recognition abilities.

Bringing this to a more relevant thread but whats your source on the Su-34 not having an RWR?

Seems the internet is all ocer the place on the subject;

• Some sites claim L150 Pastel
• Others claim RWR is provided by L175 Khibiny EW complex
• Some claim both provide RWR
• Some declare it has MAWS, but just call it “generic MAWS”

Etc…

In general, Id be very surprised if it didnt have an RWR, but I havent found any actual reliable source on the subject at all.

It says that when radar is on there might be false spikes on RWR.
And thats not for Su-35…(at least no document for Su-35 yet)

There are many modifications of Su-34, of course it will differ in RWR and other aspects.

Someone told me these antennas proved it has L-150, though you are right in saying it doesnt look like L-150 to me, granted idk enough about russian RWR antennas to be able to be sure…

Nor does it look to have the little nubs on the wings like seen on the Su-35…:

Im not expecting it to be good tbh, particularly not in sim where I exclusively play at this point.

• Its very large
• The RWR situation seems up in the air (though i doubt gaijin will add it without one regardless of what it has or doesnt have irl)
• The targeting system seems subpar (likely lower gimbal limits compared to TGP’s and has no thermals)
• The cockpit is trash for air to air combat (something you need to be able to do in sim regardless of what you are doing, as the maps are too small at top tier)
• Pilots don’t seem to have HMCS/HMD (making quick ground attack targeting even harder)
  
  

Overall it seems to suffer from all the problems of bombers at earlier BR’s, likely because largely, it is one. The only saving grace for it might be its weaponry?

Also. How many countermeasures Su-32 has? Its tail boom look bigger than on other Flankers.

Either it gets some cracked loadout or it will be forgotten like the su-24. The latter which was advertised with gimmicky gunpods that weren’t even implemented

Looks like 7x14 so 98 countermeasures total.

Location of the dispenser seems kinda trash by modern standards as well, since most modern aircraft seem to mount a mix of centerline and wing dispensers.
