Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 3)

I love how most people don’t know how to use modern jets on a map that actually allows them to be flown the way they were meant to be high and fast. Instead, they fly low, thinking “multipath” will save them from an R-77 fired at Mach-Jesus from 30 or 40 km away. Ah, Su-35 radarI love you, Irbis.

it took them 3 years to learn multipathing it will take another 3 to forget it

It never should have existed… if Nuclear Thunder were permanent, or if Air Realistic Battle maps were the same size as or larger than the Nuclear Thunder ones, it would be much better; I didn’t even need to use chaff or notch. I could just turn and use my energy to outrun the missile.

F-15Es are dangerous cookies in this mode, guys focus on them. I didn’t see a single Rafale lol, your mighty Mica missile is useless here.

Bruh wut?

I was getting 2+ kills consistently yesterday in my Su-33, its still a beast in its current br.

in WT I have no doubts, every new update there’s new loss of frame bug…

Fr, if we had actual big maps in Air RB they’d still hug the ground :)

Maybe they don’t even understand the advantages of flying high, position advantage, more speed and kinematic potential for your weapons, more alt to drop to escape or evade, and so on…

Kh-31PD and AD are low cortisol gaming in NT.

imo all anti ship missiles feel extremly underwhelming

Yeah, but seeing the bits and pieces get damaged tickles my brain.

crack.

Someone confirm you can fire air to air missiles with ESM

i know l-150 can slave arm seekerheads, and ig theoretically it can slave any missile to the source radiation… but it’s probably not realistic for air to air missiles

Tbf I wasn’t arguing against this being unhistorical but rather an unintended feature and was wondering if anyone could confirm it works like so in-game.
