Also Gaijin always says that compatibility is the only factor when it comes adding munitions to vehicles, as for balancing its whole another story.
Gaijin doesn’t want you to ignore shiny new 450k RP 3d jet, so i highly doubt that SM2 will get ANY upgrades for its arsenal in-game. All the cool stuff will go to Su-35 to make it a Flagship Russian 4.5 gen

I think the odds of F-15EX and Su-35S next update are pretty high, so this will change. Though since the Su-30SM2 is 14.7, the Su-35S will probably be 15.0 and thus the F-15EX might go there too

Thats possible but then again US will still lack actual 14.7 in that case.
Gaijin might slap some experimental version of serial product F-15/16 to that gap tho.

The lack of a 14.7 would not be that big of a problem if USA had a 15.0 though, every nation has some BR gaps after all
Look at France, they have no 14.3, no 13.3 and no 13.0 that belongs there, but they’re still pretty fine at top tier
I don’t think SU-35/F-15EX would be placed at 15.0. Instead they will most likely be at 14.7 on release and then moved to 15.0 whenever next br changes happen

True, like what they did last time. But I don’t pay attention to temporary BRs since they’re just Gaijin being lazy to balance things straight away

R-37M should be useful based on stats, but there are western long range missiles as well to counter it. I am more of a lower tier player and not the best pilot however, I do enjoy top tier once in a while. They should also add the YF-23 and Mig. 1.44 just for fun for us to be able to play experimental aricraft . This is of course just speculation on my part.
F-15 EX could be a potential 14.7 as well as F-16 block 72, which should have AESA radar.
based purely on stats it will perfrom like Fakour 90 but even better. Which, combined with top speed close to Mach 6, will make it absolutely dominating in early engagements. This might pretty much break the top tier, especially if missile interception will be nerfed.
Block 72 were never used by USAF though they are upgrading F-16 to block 70 standards. Even then we already have F-16CM PoBIT with AESA radar. F-16CM is already not a 14.3 material jet thanks to low amount of missile, adding another F-16 especially at 14.7 would be a terrible idea

Also f15ex but tbh that thing is just more a brick than a fighter.
Whats is different about it other than speed and missile number ( prop get nerfed when gaijin implement drag for weapons )
Other than being a direct upgrade over the F-15C GE in flight performance and other minor metrics (like CAS; so basically like a Su-30SM/Su-34 situation earlier on pre-SP nerf)? Not much.
Oh, and it’s the jet you could grind before the F-22 (though, and this is just my opinion: it could also go under the F-16CM because why not; confusing succession lines go brr)
Not sure the f22 will be after 15ex.
But the 15ex might be the last plane for the bomber line.
F22 will prop be after the f16 pobit.
And ofc f35 after each line of 15cge av8 and 18e
Wouldn’t that be the F-15E RMP? F-15EX isn’t a strike fighter (even though it can basically do it all, I know it’s confusing) or rather, not what it’s intended for seeing as it’s a C/D Eagle replacement
I guess F-22 after F-16 makes sense, F-15 line would be crowded
Contrary to popular belief, the F-15EX is by no means a clunky aircraft.
Both F-15E and EX has same maximum take off weight while F-15EX enjoys FBW and smoother flight experience.
