Nevermind, I was confused with terminology. Su-37 used very weird throttle based on a strain gauge it seems.
Su-35 might’ve changed because this is more common way to control throttle? It’s available for export after all. Or maybe due to cockpit space constraints.

nothing, i just don’t like Su-37 for how it makes Su-27M completely forgotten just because it has fancy engines
But that’s not 37’s fault actually.
And yet it didn’t even use the engines most people attribute to it.
Su-37 is the most maneuverable flanker in the world!!! (Shit is almost as heavy as Su-30SM, only has 2D TVC and early version of FBW that was later upgraded and used on Su-30MKI)
