Does the base weight in game refer to empty weight or is it no weapons + min fuel?

oh yeah i like totally knew that.

how do you find that on statshark? It isn’t in Global Vehicle Statistics of the FM Calculator, is it?

It is indeed, in the FM calculator

Ohhhhhh I see it now.

Can the Su-35S carry R-27ETs? I looked up a few brochures and they don’t mention ETs. The second one doesn’t mention the R-27T at all which I KNOW is false.

You’re the best bro.

Would “Long range missiles” be R-37M?

yeah as those didn’t exist yet. though for some reason it doesnt list them underneath the engine naucelles

That is odd.

Do you also know the top speed of the Su-35S?

The two brochures I posted say 2.35 and 2.25

Also do you know why the 30SME is so slow? I know the other MKI derivatives top out at Mach 1.9 but Rosboronexport says 1.75 for SME.

I would rather say they were refering to AAM-L aka KS-172S-1. In 2007 MAKS prototype T-10BM 901 was shown with 1 or 2 of them on one of the pylons from brochure.

I personally think its r-37m cause now those spots are occupied by RVV-BD

yeah for some reason su-30sme has a lower top speed than even su-30sm, idk why

Only 1,12,11 pylons. Those are brochures and photos from 2007 so most likely AAM-L. I don’t think Sukhoi would refer to non existing missile yet(ye i know R-37 existed but M wasn’t). For sure instead of “old” long range missile they swap it for R-37M in late 2010s

sounds just logical to me the aim120a/b have longer fins so they take up more space (something f15 golden eagle users can experience first hand it can mount 12x120c/d but only 8 120a/b)

i actually would agree on KS-172 aka AAM-L, because, as you ccan see, only one missile is placed between nacelles. Su-35S can carry 2 of R-37M there, but KS-172 is stupidly long so most likely only one. Same reason why it is probably not placed under nacelles, it is just too long and would clip into the ground. Another thing is that, depending on the year of brochure - RVV-BD might not refer specifically to export version of R-37M, but instead to an abstract missile that will be result of the program with the same name, that eventually ended to be R-37M. Both KS-172 and R-37M were competing in that one.
Also i wonder if it’s wrong translation or brochure actually talks about R-27 with passive seekerhead. Russian R is like English P
