There is a big airforce museum in Monino, Moscow with some very cool stuff.
I’m planning to visit Russia at one day,maybe I’ll visit that museum once I get a chance.

Is that the open air one with the Russian Concorde and prototype Flanker?
I think I saw it a bit from Google Earth street view.
It does have a giant open exhibition with bunch of rare stuff, but also has a lot more other things. It’s the central museum of VVS after all
Looks like a pretty interesting museum to visit.
Having visited a few around the world (Berlin, Krakow and Washington), going to a russian one could be a way to close the circle.
Gotta renew the passport someday I guess.
There is also Kubinka in close proximity, if you are interested in armored vehicles. Plenty of rare stuff there as well, Maus, IS-7, Ferdinand (only one in the world as well), bunch of Soviet prototypes…

no, it’s actually domesticated, just loves personal space, probably was made by Canadians or something
I can also see an Su-30 of some sort near Tu-95 with a Chin (near choppers), 2 MiG-29s, MiG-25 and MiG-31, MiG-23, bunch of prototypes, Myasischev M-4 (big bomber with only tail and wings on the photo, actually a B-52 analogue, unlike Tu-95). Oh and Tu-22M, as wel as T-4

From this angle it looks almost as long as the Tu, quite insane.
Well, it’s around 13 meters of difference without counting the rotors, with them - only around 6 meters. Which is insane tbh
