We dont know, but its another airforce claim this time around
I would wait a while before taking fighterbomber’s course of event at face value
Aim120c8 isnt exactly outdated
I know, Isn’t it essentially a 120D?
Pretty much
It is a 120D. The C8 was later renamed to D, from what I know.
120C-8 lacks two way data link and maybe GNSS
This is another document which was posted by Blanchboi

There is nothing wrong with using such tactics, in fact its probably best one to hunt Flanker due to range differences between fox3’s.
I think he’s worried the story will get sensationalized and changed but I don’t think it’ll be that bad.
Every side do that all the time but yea I also think it will not be as bad as he think it would be.
Holy since the summer sales have begun its just an all you can eat buffet at the premium spam br ranges. Think I managed some stupid shit like 4kpb/9kd in the Su-27SM its actually just disgustingly low quality of gameplay.
Its fighterbomber, i wouldnt jump to believe their story right away. Its mostly a reliable source but i would wait a bit more here considering the involvement of the opposite airforce. Also important to point out su35s arent always carrying the r37m.
I think Russia has already confirm the story is true now we just need ps zsu to give more details on shoot down but if it’s my guess I think it’s the patriot that took it down in the end, but if it was 120 datalinked by awacs I’d believe as well
Fighterbomber is the one that confirmed that the shootdown happened and gave the story, the thing is that is the only source currently.
Fighterbomber is generally truthful, but this story wasn’t the result of an internal investigation it was the pilot’s testimony which is why i said we should wait a bit before jumping to conclusion.
I agree
Oh look, countermeasures that we are still missing
Dark nose cone, huh.
Also the wing root antennas seem to be… missing?
i think they are just painted gray now, they did the same with the other parts that are normally white
now its like the MiG-29KR with all gray/black
Big close-up of engines, yet impossible (for me at least) to tell if they are AL-31’s or 41’s.
