If it was the sm2 then yeah i’d agree that it would be pretty good, but with that crap engine? Cmon dude. With the f15e which can go at absurd speeds and rain missiles like meteors and rafale with its absurd FM + radar the su-30sm would be the last plane that i’d consider OP in top tier lol.

The problem with that is players will shoot off 5 missiles to kill a single jet. No other jet can do that we all have to think about the chance of missile shots hitting the Su-30Sm players do not.
R-60s that were all aspect, pulled more G and Phatoms didn’t have SARHM…
You would really want 12 base R-77s? You realize you’re shooting yourself on the foot right?

Rear aspect R-60’s. R-60M’s didn’t come until years later.

100% more chances to kill 120s efficacy drops dramatically the closer you get.
No in the beginning they could lock the front of a Phantom
R-60 had (partial all aspect)
Same with other rear aspects, you get a tiny window headon against afterburning targets.
That’s a matter for the typhoon thread, instead of trying to nerf historical stuff that aren’t even justifiable (this is not a r27er x sparrow situation) they need to fix these planes.
If the game is not ready for these machines then they shouldn’t be added at first place, period. Adding crippled vehicles to the game is the most insufferable thing gaijin does. If back in 2022 they said that they’d need to wait 3 more years to add 4th gen aircraft because the game wasn’t prepared for them, no problem. I prefer to wait a long time to recieve a good product instead of this pathetic fast-food content.

No the Su-30 and the 27SM have more air to air pylons than they should. Not sure if the Su-34 does though I recall seeing something about it on here.
Su-30 shouldn’t have double racks between the engines and the 27SM shouldn’t have them at all.

If it’s not historical then ok it should get fixed.
You have the option to grind for the 27SM. You get more missiles than the Typhoons. Let’s see how you would feel then 😉

That explains everything, look, 90% ppl i know that swear russian equipment are too good for the game do not have Russia researched. I’m not saying this in a way to undermine you or smt like that, it’s just that you have a opinion which is based solely on what other ppl say to you…
If you have some extra money, time and really like the game i’d recommend you to buy a russian premium and rush the air tree. I have many friends which had the same opinion but didn’t have the soviet tree “oh, the mig29 is soooo maneuverable111!!”, guess what happened when they finally got these planes?
