TVC doesn’t generate lift in the SUs case or raptor.
Lift is the wrong term, but the effect is the same. Reason aircraft cannot turn in thin air is the lack of lift generated due to the thin air.
TVC help to mitigate this by directing the thrust

The SUs basically tried to copy what the Harriers discovered on accident.
You must really love the harrier. But stop with the Nonsense. Engine nozzles on the harrier are on the middle of the body. Compare to the end like F-22 or Su’s. They don’t work the same. In the F-22/Su- Case the nozzles push the tail In thus increasing the Nose AoA. While harrier push the whole fuselage up.
Harriers also have RCS jets throughout the fuselage.
Do they not cause the same change in pitch and attitude is what I should ask.

some of them might but i can say for sure that tvc is alot better for YAW now
