Correct. Su-30M could’ve done everything Russian top-tier needs right now, Su-34 was just too much, too quick.

Su-30MKI rolled off the line an KnAAPO 20 years ago man, it ain’t NEW-new, it’s just new. We know PLENTY about it at this point. Question is if the devs want to trust the sources the community finds them, or sit back a quote the wrong flight manual for key statistics.

No new weapons on the horizon per the last dev Q&A. So idk about that man. Gonna be a long wait.

It’s the first tandem Flanker at this point that makes sense to add. Su-27M would be a mixed bag. Marginally better radar (N001VEP vs N011), same engine performance, no TVC compared to Su-27SM. Su-30SM has the N011M, which is actually a hybrid PESA, TVC gives it marginally better WVR.

Su-27M radar is FAR better than the one we have in game, instead of a garbage cassagrein radar it has an actual slotted array antenna (same type of radar as F-15C,E F-16C, Eurofighter, MiG.29SMT, Mirage2000F etc. and most 4th gen aircraft) and it tracks 5 more targets (15 instead of 10) in TWS and can fire at 4 more (6 instead of 2).
It also gets two more pylons, canards and the rearward radar. One of the Su-27M aircraft also got TVC.

MiG-29M has much less fancy features but it checks all the basics (phased array radar, good rwr, good amount of missiles) and is the closest flight performance to the eurofighter Russia/USSR can get without Su-35 or more advanced Su-30sm variants.

“Has hit dev” is not “fix in production”. It will turn up in one of the next hotfixes.

Where you has found this? I only heard about rear loooking radar for Su-34 but it was not put into production.

Smin said this patch they wanted to focus on these nations that were left behind in Top tier, part of me thinks this is BS, Gszabi’s leak included J11B and J10B if i’m not wrong, but it ended up not coming, most likely this was a rushed update, to them the Eurofighter, Rafale and Su-33 were enough. But now with these new 14.0, we know that Russia will get something aswell very soon, as from what i was expecting and with the leak from Olivia, RUS will get Su-30SM, i feel like it’s gotta be coming in March Update.

Wanted a bit of feedback since the FM change of the SU-27 !

Afaik it has less speed bleed and the SM got better engines right ?

How well does the Su-27S fair against the SM with better engines ?
I assume low speed performance it’s good now.
