I’ve already done some dogfight tests, and honestly… it gave the plane a second wind. Big thanks to everyone involved <3
Bet they are literally forgot about first one
I really wish I had the 27sm instead of the j11a now
It just ends up annoying for the mod team.
Who would have though that a “Frontline bomber” is very good at bombing
560/1120 kgf more thrust? I also see bigger climb rate from 225 to 235.
SM 17250kg
Why the hell is the J-11A still the same BR as the SU-27SM3, as if the previous SM wasn’t already massively better…at this point they should be 2 BR steps away from each other
I have a dream that one day we will be able to play a single match and not see a bug.
Jokes aside, anyone know if the Oswald’s number changes apply to the entire range of speeds (I would guess so)? The reason I am saying this is because it seems now to overperform at high speeds in speed loss. It can pull 12 G at ~1200 (sea lvl, 20 min fuel, pylons with no missiles) while losing only like 10 km/h each second (though you can’t sustain it, you will black out in a couple of seconds). Wonder if they will try to adjust that.
Damn, is that completely empty with no pilot, no gun ammo, no fuel in tubes, no oil?
One day, we will clutch out a match again, but this time both of us will be in the flanker.
If they didn’t change anything else then yes, they do apply to the whole range.
Welp, gotta use the airbrake much more now. Don’t wanna black out going into the notch.
I made it because didn’t seen an issue from summer
Maybe it just drown in one’s junior game designer backlog because it’s an easy fix, but it’s drown
I don’t know about Su27SM, but as for J11 and J11A, both will drop, so I am guessing that is a part of the VEP upgrade.
FBW
Yep.I calculated from the normal takeoff weight
Fly-by-Wire?
Yep
What does FBW do here? Are you talking about that transonic instability?
If yes, I don’t think that is what is causing it, because both the Su-27S and Su-27SM got the same aerodynamical changes. Su-27SM received more thrust.
What I am talking about is about the small overperformance the FM in sustained turns at supersonic speeds. If I am correct, before the FM changes, Su-27S was underperforming at low and medium speeds and a little overperforming and high speeds. Now it is made to be better at all those speeds, but since there was a small overperformance at high speeds, it is now not small.
If you have time, I would like to hear your opinion on the FM change when you test it.
Comrades, did they really do the unthinkable? Did they buff the flanky?
Yeah, it feels a lot better now.
