Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 1)

What was the cause of removing SPO-15?

That’s the refresh rate of the CRT display, not the radar itself. (What you see is not the radar beam moving across the scan volume, but rather the electron beam scanning the CRT display)

I didn’t write that it was installed…The L-150 was designed for the Su-25T and in a simplified version for the Su-33 and Yak-141, actually working samples were received around 1988-1990, I do not know what the early version looked like …
The photo that I posted is a later version of the SIO-1 screen on the Su-39.
In what year the serial production of the L-150 began, I do not know.
The real cabin was only at number 77 of the Yak-41, which crashed…
And I don’t know what’s in the game at all!

This is a multifunctional display Yak-41.
IPV-1 here on the ancient T-10K-6, although the first serial is considered to be the T-10K-7, which turned out to be in China…

Well in game it not count as MFD, just doubling your HUD

Meant to put a 3 there, not 2.

Womp womp

Now, is it actually SM1 or something else?

What?

Both photos are Su-35…

Is it actually Su-27SM or some other Sukhoi?

no, those are from Su-35S, specifically Red 24/RF-95816

in addition to that, it also added Kh-38 and KOEP-35 targeting pod (which never used by RuAF since Su-24 and Su-34 took all of air to ground role)

That mockup looks more like Kh-35 for me.

Do you need these technical problems of the last century…
Yes, they are often called IPV(Yak-141), but in fact this is the next generation of Soviet indicators on cathode ray tubes (they were not widely used and in the future the same MFIs were planned on the Yak-141 as on the MiG-29M/MiG-29K,in addition, it is not known how he ended up on the Yak-141 tail number 75, and what information he displayed)…
However, the main direction of development of direct vision indicators at that time was the creation of multifunctional indicators based on cathode ray tubes. At the same time, the size of the information field of the devices was consistently increased. If the screen size of the IPV (1979) was 88x108 mm(4x3), (Next, square) then ELI and ELI-2 (1984) they already had a screen size of 130x130 mm, and the indicators ELI Ts(1982), ELI MTs(1986) - 145x145 mm.

The link from the VK is not inserted-I’ll try it from the computer tomorrow…

It’s kind of a prototype T-10M

Will they give a version with Hephaestus-24-34.

This is just CCRP. Base Su-27 arleady has it in the game. Because ingame system arleady are 100% accurate, this system will do nothing.

Continuation of the message on the subject-…Why is this not an IPV, but a First-generation Soviet Multifunction Display for the MiG-29M/Yak-141…

The third part is why it is not IPV…
Unfortunately, there are no photos in the online version of the book…But I have a book!

  1. Many people may be confused by the button design of the ELI (respectively determined by the functionality and software)…
  2. In fact, the device is the same (or its variant), the principle of operation is the same…The Crocus system (later version) for the MiG-29M and the Yak-141 device (b/n 75)…one of the options…

Don’t get too excited, we only know (as much as leaks worth it) about Su-33
