Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 1)

Like I said not an accurate source

all good till gaijin say’s fk it and they add r27ea for balans cus they are too lazy to fix su27 fm/r77 drag. not that it hasn’t happened already. (r27er)

It actually might be an event vehicle, so Mig29K or Su30 is still possible.

Weird choice for an event vehicle tbh. Plus we just had Soviet (KV-7) event vehicle, people gonna be very annoyed with another Soviet vehicle (but that is new?)

Don’t think we ever had an vehicle supposed to come in a Major Update beind datamined, it’s only revealed in Devblogs or Teaser. Also, it might be worse than Su-27SM a bit, so that thing is supposed to be the counter to F18C? Event Vehicle most probably.

T-90M was datamined several years before update. Parts of Su-34 were mined before teaser

Did not included Su-34 cuz it was already leaked before that datamine, don’t know if T90M was already datamined right before the update it was coming. Thing is, it’s not common, Just don’t assume at least yet that it will be the counter the Russians are getting for F18C

I know it’s the flanker thread but after more than one year since the SMT the fact that we are getting a new flanker instead of a MiG sucks imho, especially since MiGs from current top tier timeframe (1990s) would be much more capable for warthunder air rb

Which means more ugly and less lifting.

Su-33 will be DOA unless it is 13.0.

Probably also means J-15 as C&P

The J-15 isn’t the copy of the SU-33 but uses the frame of the Ukrainian T10K-3 and pretty much everything else is Chinese made or assembled in China for the very least. Later J-15 variants like the J-15T are 100% indigenous with absolutely zero reliance on Russian parts and the base J-15 would play entirely differently from the SU-33 like a different radar and A2A missiles.

J-15 Uses a copy of the T-10K-7, not the 3. Except for the new radio equipment everything else is a complete copy
The T-10K was never Ukrainian
Ukraine sold T-10K-7 inherited from the USSR

Still worthy to note that J-15’s new radar allows for it to fire PL-12 Fox 3s.

The T10 was still Ukrainian as it was Ukrainian owned, there isn’t anything going around it - the origin may be USSR tied but that’s different.

Except for the new radio equipment everything else is a complete copy

The J-15 has a new radar, the KLJ-4, the same RWR as found on the J-8F and PL-12/PL-8Bs - the T10 purchased by China was also not airworthy which is another thing you forgot to mention.

supposed new “leak list”

It’s incorrect. Gzasbi already said so. Only trust the ones from the discord and from Yukari.

This is not exactly how you describe…
the T-10K-7 was in non-flying condition at the time of transfer to Russia in December 1991 (or planned engine replacement/new equipment according to the flight test program)…
This does not mean that it was defective or incomplete…this is a new aircraft at that time-produced at the factory in 1990, the first flight at the factory on December 27, 1990…that is, at the time of the transfer of the aircraft to Russia, they were only a year old…

You make it sound like they designed and built it themselves.

I’ve written only the hull of the aircraft, and the control system, everything else has been replaced.

What gives this one away as especially suspect is the BTR-80 Kliver before the BTR-82A/AT.

You make it sound like they designed and built it themselves

You’re just making the assumption, never have I stated or suggested that it was Ukrainian built.
