I’m still amused they used Ethanol for the Tu-22s airconditioning. Didn’t even infuse it with chemicals to make it non-potable. Just straight up ethanol

This is from old Knaapo Brochure. From Stealth Flanker Calculation. Without missile its have about the same RCS of the Rafale. With full missile of course it have more than Rafale with full missile.
And from what i have read its not like they Applied RAM on the whole plane but key zone like the engine intake.
I’m aware the Rafale is AESA. The SU30 is PESA, which in the game means basically the same thing, except that the SU30’s radar in practicality actually scans faster and imo has much better scan areas. Rafales only advantage is the vertical gimbal limits

They are generally pretty close. Depending on the airframe they will remove one of the fuel tanks for the additional cockpit space.
They function identically in-game
Su-24, Su-25 pilots in the photos. Maybe they aren’t issued G suit on account of what they’re flying. Do A-10 pilots get G suit?

I mean, that’s kind of implied by “locks onto the target while still mounted on the helicopter”.
And that’s essentially the main point of helicopters to begin with … It’s not like we are talking about strategic bombers.

If you can send back a video feed to the operator and have the operator guide the missile in terminal phase towards a moving target, there’s no reason why you can’t do that with an automated algorithm onboard the missile …
It’s not like we are talking about old missiles from the era when computers were the size of a house …

I have seen LMUR used in FNF mode to hit buildings/UA positions I have not seen LMUR used to hit moving tanks and vehicles.
I have seen Ataka, Vikhrs but not LMUR.
The developer of the missile says the missile will fly to a predetermined or set coordinates. No mention of it able make necessary adjustments to or corrections to track targets.
If the missile could reliably track a moving target autonomously then Russia would likely promote it.
I agree though Russian technology is shrouded
TBF I think this is more attributed to the heavy AA environment near the front more than anything. That’s why both sides basically stuck to FPV drones (the one publicized that is)
Also it’s kind of useless against tanks because it only has a 25kg HE warhead for now

Yes the missile is locked from the helicopter that doesnt mean it automatically can track a moving target.
The pilot will designate a target and launch it the missile will fly to that location and then look for the target if that target is not in the seeker field?

You’re literally describing Semi-Active Laser homing, Man-in-the-loop is basically what the Spike NLOS does

That missile hits a stationary target, yes it selects through multiple we dont know if that is the missile or the operator though.
The final target it engages is stationary

This ignores factors such as cost, which a Lancet or cheap fpv can do the job better because they have a HEAT warhead
25kg HE should be fairly effective against light vehicles
And even against tanks it will most likely cripple the tank and possibly destroy it if you hit top side
But a $50 drone from aliexpress with a mcgyvered PG-7V warhead is just as effective.
