holy doa, gotta decide between cannons or flares. another missile bus is not fun
If it gets a good BR it won’t be DOA, and I don’t think it’s going to be a missile bus just because it’s lengthy.

its has no gun if you take flares, so unless its below 10.0 thats a huge tradeoff
10.0 or lower, no problem.

Also i can’t find anything about it able to carry flares. Only choice between drop tanks and UPK-23-250 gunpods
They’re 14G missiles and R-60Ms in double racks each, so four not two.

Well, then it shouldn’t get them either imo. With 2 10G missiles (2G of target overload), 2 R-60s and no flares it will probably be around 9.7 (We have MiG-21SPS-K at 9.3 iirc with 2 R-60s)
The TM can carry 4 of r60s

let’s leave it with 2, with 4 it will go to 10.0 at least and facing 11.0 stuff in full uptier in a flareless jet with 6.5G wing overload is not gonna be particularly fun
I dont see an isue about it being 10.0 with 4 r60 and two more missiles, just give it the option to choose between the gun pod and the flares.
6.5 is still about 10g, in game which is fine the mig 21 max is about 11-12, so it isnt really bad like on the mig 25, not sure how the sustained turn is going to be, but if we base it like on the j8 it would be pretty good for the br
i assume that it would be able to carry 1x gunpod 1x flarepod as it has 2 hardpoints there (SPS-141/2 pod and Gsh-23)

I am not sure if thats possible, i have never seen them used together, if the two pylons are wired individually you could theoretically do it, but i have no evidence for that.

2km minimum range with like a missile that probably pulls around 10Gs gonna be… interesting. We are entering AIM-7C levels of effectiveness in WT
