Suggestion: Add Canadian Leopard Tanks to the British Tech Tree

Camada is not a sub tree.
There is no sense

U get indiant mbts , planes and south african stuff.
Variety is covered, leopards arent needed.

It does so in germany as well

It does so in germany as well

Tldr no letigimate reason named for the addition of canadian leos to UK

Who’s that guy ?

: P

The mighty Commonwealth tank line that was added

I wonder what top tier tanks could go in that line (The Arjun will never be top tier)

Wow bud you were almost late to the thread this time.

Leopards aside, Canada is being treated badly in a way most other nations are not.

T 90s.
Australian redback.
Future indian tank projects
Jordanian challengers i am not sure if those would go to export.
But generaly not all lines need to provide top tier stuff

Poland, spain. Iran, australia , austria and so on.
Canada aint special mate

Canada aint entitled to special treatment

  1. Poland; 2/3 66% of vehicles in one TT
  2. Spain; 2 vehicles, 2 TTs 50%
  3. Iran; 1/1 US TT, 100% in one TT
  4. Australia; 16/17 UK TT, 94% in one TT
  5. Austria; 2 vehicles, 2 TTs 50%

I don’t know what point you’re trying to prove, these aren’t very good examples.

So canada is entitled to better trearment then other nations that got split?
You think yoirself better then anyone else?

You don’t make a commonwealth line and then add nothing to it

None of the Indian stuff can be top tier

The best they have is the Arjun which is a worse 2A4 with Kontact 5 and the T-90S mk3 which only improvement is commander thermals

So looking at the Hornets they have added i think the writing is on the wall

Are you trying to start a fight about it? Calm your tits.

Eliminating the very minor operators which have only 1 or 2 vehicles and can understandably be split between TTs, we can classify operator nations by size (official subtrees highlighted);

  • 3-5 vehicles
  1. Turkey (3)
  2. Poland (3)
  3. Denmark (3) (all 3 in Sweden)
  4. Czechia (4) (all 4 in USSR)
  5. Argentina (4) (all 4 in Germany)
  6. Pakistan (5) (CHINA)
  • 6-9 vehicles
  1. Norway (6) (SWEDEN)
  2. India (7) (UK)
  3. Switzerland (8) (GERMANY)
  • 10+ vehicles
  1. Belgium (10) (FRANCE)
  2. Romania (12) (ITALY)
  3. The Netherlands (14) (FRANCE)
  4. Thailand (17) (JAPAN)
  5. Canada (17)
  6. Australia (17)
  7. South Africa (23) (UK)
  8. Finland (43) (SWEDEN)
    etc.

You may notice that Canada and Australia in particular are significant outliers in that they both have a large number of vehicles in game, but are not officially designated subtrees. This actually runs counter to the demonstrated norm within the game, and exactly opposite from the incorrect opinion you just voiced.

sadly.

First of all u misquoted the whole thing.
Its the export mbt and commpnwealth line.
Your jordanian challengers and so on go there.
Its said that after vickers mk 1 is those things

I guess the rooikats. Badger are not commonwealth vehicles.
Possible additions include australian redback.
Australian boxer crv that have no place to go currently.

No where is it said it meeds to get top tier additions. And its already a commonwealth line since it has commomwealth vehicles.

You are misinterpreting to much into the wording

So u are proving me right that you are saying the future of tjose nations doesnt matter and canada is entitled to better treatment?

It doesnr matter how “minor” a nation is.
You are trying to force your opinion trough.
While others suffer

Yes, and smin specialy said since then multiple times. The commonwealrh line doesnt mean all vejicles get added their.
Cause UK doesnt need canada.

Air and ground are different matters. Since air is more lose and kot line up depended in the first place.

This is an absolutely disingenuous argument; in a perfect world every nation would be on an equal footing and have an independent TT, but we work with what we have. No, Canada is not “entitled to better treatment”, we should strive towards an equal system and address the greatest need first, which is why the status of the two nations I just highlighted with a combined inventory of 34 vehicles should be addressed.

Did you want Argentina as an official subtree for Germany? It’s as easy as Gaijin writing an ✨ announcement ✨

As for need, we’re seeing mockups like the Chieftain 900 being added instead of real service vehicles, so yeah it’s not that great over here. Feels like the requests and reports of the community are consistently disregarded in favour of gaslighting us towards accepting what was already planned.

No its an realistic argument.
Nations will be split more and more.
There is nothing that can be done.
I am all for lixed line ups.
But gajin needs to draw the line somewhere and UK has to much diversity already.
Its ground is on the poorer side. But its air potential is gigantic.
Fixing it trough trohwing more stuff into it isnt right.
Ground suffers so that air blooms in this case

Specialy denied by gajin already.

Tech demonstrators arent mock ups

Still no hint for canada to get added more to the UK like many believe.
Hell gajin doesnt wanna add the 2a4m can to a techtree cause it specialy could reduce the premiums sales.

Gajin tries to make the ground premiums/squadrons sth special to mske them sale.
And if its skins, foliage etc.
The addition of the 2a4m can would be a 1:1 copy paste and would remove any uniqueness.
Its not sth gajin would want.

Its an export mbt/ commonwealth line.
Both beong presenr already. Assuming this means gsjins has the leos planned their just realy is plain wrong

This isn’t a great take. The Chieftain 900 is a highly requested vehicle from our extensive export catalogue that, while not being a ‘real service vehicle’, represents our domestic tank building industry and capabilities. Export catalogue vehicles also make up a significant part of other in-game tech trees, too.

It’s also not a mockup. It’s a fully functional prototype/demonstrator with mockup armour. Very important difference.

Exactly. Just means we get a few extra flags, and maybe the odd premium.

Lol. What, people can’t give opinions now?

I’d personally prefer a seperate Commonwealth tree and actually add more British vehicles to the British tree. They have enough to become one of the “big 3”.

It also means Commonwealth players actually have all their vehicles in one place. I don’t even care if Gaijin keep the squadron Aussie Abrams in the US tree or Canadian Leopards in the German tree, provided they make them available in a Commonwealth tree.

Im misinterpreting all those Hornets and how anything to be a rank above Vickers mk7 might have to be something that has something in common with those Hornets

This is the best idea also if they can’t make a commonwealth tree, they should just add a bit into the British tech tree as like folder Vehicles
