No, the MK was developing before China get any Su-27SK. And MKK was made for them by KnAAPO with chinese instructions what they want on new aircraft. They paid for final product not development phase.
Those are trash, subsonic, large, easy to spot and intercept. Also it was wrong amount of them, only 2 were carried with data link pod under the engine.

As much that I have my unpopular opinion on the J-7D, I belive that whatever is done or whatever the tech tree has or can offer, this need to be a higher premium vehicle, not for the greed but just making the research time spent more efficient, although China could get J-10C as @ron_23 is assuming, as a premium it would require logical nerfs to not just jump to top tier, which I di support, an more unique approach.

so then logically we can have the MKK with N001VE, MK2 with N001VEP, folder both under the J-11 so it wouldn’t be a garbage bloat grind
Logically they will be placed after Jh-7A because PLAAF wanted new jets with capabilities to use precise weapon.
Along with the JH-7 so players have to grind all 3 on the line until they get foldered in a few more updates…

China was the first to have the Su-30, initially with the MKK version and later with the MK2. Venezuela’s version is a variant of the latter, the MK2. It makes no sense that they include this aircraft and China doesn’t have it…

But both Russia and China lack a Rank 8 premium aircraft. Logically, if you include an aircraft that both countries use, they should both have it. The JH-7A Premium at Rank 12.3 won’t be effective when it’s uptier with the Su-30 Premium…

Not just the Rank 8 prem, China is the only in-game nation that doesn’t have any premium beyond J-7D in 10.7. Talking about not getting anything until everyone else was able to enjoy shiny new toys for 3 or 4 updates.

Or the J10C model that was leaked is planned for the December update, just gotta wait hopefully that and the Gripen get to have some time as somewhat competitive jets but who knows since we are likely to get new EFT’s which should go up in BR then
