You really complain about a slow ground attack aircraft in the Wyvern? o_O
Top speed at sea level:
Su-6 (M-71F) (4.3) 482khp
Wyvern S4 (4.3) 657kph
Su-6:
For such a small and high-horsepower plane it is very slow. Part of the reason why seems to be that its airfoil is really designed for flying slow while loaded up with ordnance.
Such that when it is clean and fast it necessitates a high negative AoA which produces a lot of drag. The same thing which makes it turn so well for an attacker (high lift at low speed) makes it really bad at going fast.
man if you’re dying to an Su-6 in a Wyvern I’ve got two words for you:
Skill Issue.
With the Wyvern you’re faster in a straight line than anyone you face, your the only plane in the BR bracket that can maintain 600 kph going straight on the deck. Keep your speed high and always do slashing attacks through the map, against both ground targets and enemy aircraft. Speed is life with that thing, it plays more similarly to an early jet than a typical prop in that regard.
