Su-57's radar suite is actually better, F-22 is ageing badly. [Not Ragebait]

to me that reads as peak power, because peak power is more important for an installation than average power (which also isnt really a well defined thing because it depends heavily on operating mode)

Literally the inlet from the front.

neat little read on this one as well. Shows that in radar scattering simulations, the only thing the Su-57 was good at is stealth against VHF

Lmao?

You can see top the “inlet” w the variable ramp. Idk what photo u have but that aint it chief

And that site prolly refers to T-50 without variable ramps. Plus has out dated information as well.

thats the YF-23

this is the intake directly from the front

Average power is generally far more relevant to things like detection range than peak power is.

Dunno what to tell you bro.

To get to see where the engines are at you’d have to be right up at the intake

Same similar angle but farther away

what does the yf-23 gotta do with the su-57 lol

you know you are talking about completely different planes right? and only one of them is in the name of the thread.

Literally show a pic of the YF-23 inlets after someone said the YF-23’s intakes are just as open as the SU-57. Show pic that they are not. lol.

oh

that makes sense, maybe try quote that bit in the future though so its less confusing

I am sorry, where?

I cant find that 11kw value anywhere

It has an assisted kill with some MiG-31BMs down in Crimea, but is it really the same if it was only present for a sensor handoff from 200km away?

Erm did you even read my message properly? I mentioned from some angles the engine is visible, especially when looking from a bit towards sides, but its less exposed than su57 tho.

Point is the felon also minimizes frontal exposure using radar blockers and ramp inlets.

What all 5 of them? Lol

The main problem there is the irst is fully reflecting, when not in use it rotates and is covered in a thick layer of RAM, the creator of the sim redid the sim considering ram over irst and its housing.

Here is the result
203772-9c53f32928f3e5152abeb10e9ecba334

Its less but there are around 40+ of them now, serially

And 12 prototypes (2 static)
