The Su-27M/Su-35 is the original prototypes that had canards, the Su-35BM/Su-35S is a large redesign with no canards and no dorsal airbrake, and is the one currently in service. The 27M would likely not be tech tree, while the 35S definitely will be tech tree

There is a difference between the 27M or the 90s prototype su-35 and the ones in service now
And with his context I would highly assume that he means the Su-35S and the Su-27M as two different aircraft

Quite heavier than a Su-27, but it makes up for it with all the new electronics and armament it carries.

Yes, it’s better than the Su-30Sm, it has a new radar (IRBIS-E) with a very nice azimuth, it has AL-41’s which produce quite a bit more thrust compared to the AL-31’s of the Su-30, it also has MAW’s and the ability to carry ECM pods on both wingtips.
As for the armament, it can carry pretty much every missile the russians have, so when time comes, we’ll see it be able to carry R-77-1’s, R-37M’s and the newly used R-77M’s.
Can it be used as CAS?
Almost certain it does, it’s often seen carrying even the KH-31’s, so it also has access to anti-radiation munitions.
Other than that I belive the Kh-38’s and Kab’s ecc.
I’m not sure if it has ever mounted the smaller versions of the UPMK’s, I only saw those mounted on the Su-34

Yep, that’s the thing I’m looking forward to the most, it will still feel like a boat at high speeds probably, but at least the acceleration will be there finally, it will give much more kinetic potential to the 77-1.
