The fbw doesn’t change the aerodynamics themselves but the behavior of the aircraft and you can’t deny that more optimized maneuvers save energy and improve maneuverability, and the new fbw is partially meant for that

Su-30Sm has fixed a lot of Russia’s issues at top tier, it caries a huge amount of missiles has good performance and an amazing Radar.
Su-35 would take that to another level similar kinematics to the Euro canards an even better radar and similar payloads.

Yeah, but for modern planes (2000s+) the FbW are so advanced the algorithms there predict pilot’s intention and will make for the best control surfaces orientation possible regardless of the stick/pedals not being at optimal position, and each year they become better.
IIRC Hornets will make rudder corrections even if you don’t touch the pedals at all, F22 can engage constant G-turns, TVC aircraft (Flankers, F22) can do corrections to compensate for trim drag, all of that automated.
As for the game, I know mouse aiming calculates best roll/pitch/yaw rates to get to the cursor position, but I’m not sure how they’d fit best sustained turns, constant G turns, etc., into the aiming system when you need to keep dragging your mouse around.

I mean, you can already do all of that with a hotas + trim. Trim turning is a thing. So, these FBW improvements shouldn’t make a difference.

The F-14D implemented correctly (with AMRAAMS and correct Phoenix) would sit comfortabley at 14.0. Amazing Radar, Flight Performance and Speed. On par RWR and Survivability, and most importantly Situational Awareness with RIO functionality. (Yes I’m well aware the RIOs will probably never change, but I can dream, ok?)

The F-22 only has the A model. Not much of anything changes besides it goes from 4x Aim-120B, 2x Aim-9M to 6x Aim-120D, 2x Aim-9X.

its a fairly recent addition, whilst usefull its not nearly as big of a deal irl as ingame, although jhmcs is quite capable irl compared to ingame
No F-22 did not have an HMD
And if added it shouldnt get one for the F-22A Early model
that was my point, that if they add the f22 it will likely not have a HMD and couldnt make efficent use of the aim9x if it gets it

I fear it tbh, I’m afraid it will have very bad consequences considering how much they hurry the development… Shortly after the f22 we’ll see all the rest of gen 5 thrown prematurely into the game and top tier will become a massive chaos, especially considering they’re keeping the br compressed like hell
