Gap between rafale and 30sm2 indeed isnt largest.
But now look at eurofighter, F-15E/I, hornet. Also same br btw.
30SM2 will be way stronger, especially in hands of average player
Hornet must have a huge gap, because it’s not made for high altitudes and BVR, it’s too slow for it, but even on Hornet it’s possible to fight against any jet.
I really don’t understand those complains, as long as I fly F-18s, Sukhoys had always been a food for me, specially in sim battles

I have SM2 against me, I love those jets and don’t want to see them as food, I want them to be worthy opponents, not some weak pussies

Yes, I completely agree with this point of view. The Su-30SM2 (basically a two-seat version of the Su-35) and the Rafale (basically the F4) need a higher BR upgrade. That’s also why I’ve always argued that everyone should have their most powerful 4.5 fighter in this update (since the Gripen E and Typhoon AESA are probably the last versions of this aircraft family) and new missiles as well. They’re making me grind for another 400,000 RP to get a Su-35.
SM2 is in fact better than 35s, if will be added with same weapons.
More CMs, should have better RWR too. But with small tradeoff, maws and a bit of drag.

And secondly jets are similar nowadays that will continue to reflect in game, we cant deny balance because two things will share similar performance or a playstyle with slightly different smaller features in game. However adding something that’s much better overall to something that was already better overall isn’t the same. As other jets at the same BR that aren’t even close in one aspect don’t get a fair chance.
So, in the next update, we’ll have a two-seater Su-35 going up against a Rafale F3 but with all the features of an F4 =)). That will be very interesting.

I’m wondering if they could do that with the F-15E. They could just name it F-15E Late and add all the features of the F-15EX to it. Then you’d need to grind another 400,000 RP to get a real Su-35, Rafale F4, and F-15EX, haha.
